Hmmm. Interesting question really Joe. Will you be able to sell your shares at the price you bought for them and walk away with the same money. Fundamentally yes you will, but when you take the commission into consideration and inflation slowly devaluing your spending power, a loss of interest since you’ve had it in your share fund and not in the bank then the answer is no. Your money will be worth less than when you put it in.
