The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Right On , festivities went well thank you . Trust yours did too.
The background you have provided is very useful and lets hope that the same people can replicate the Oxus success here and importantly not have it snatched away from them .
My point on the PEA is one of communicating something and delivering it . I realise it is price sensitive and can only be released when it has been completed but they must be in a position to say when that will be . Stating vague time lines is not helpful as interpretation is applied and that leads to uncertainty - as is evidenced by the current situation . Namely , the PEA could be two weeks away , a month away or longer . Sure it will come when it comes and taking that approach , the BOD should say nothing about any future inflection point as everything will pass , sometime or another . Like I said choose a date that you know you can be certain of and deliver on that date . At the moment we have not had any updates and it would help shareholders if they understood what the problems are , if any . Sure , we can guess , Covid , lab time etc but that is exactly what it is guessing .
As one contributor on ADVFN put it , the lost opportunity cost here is not small with puff of air stocks climbing in multiples .
This stock has real assets of potentially considerable value , which only adds to the overall frustration which the BOD could make some effort to address with good communication .
With regard to the major shareholder selling , yes Mr Hughes through the TR1 disclosed his position which appeared to have been achieved over a period of time and he has every right to sell his shares anyway and anytime he chooses and for whatever reason, they are his shares . My point was that he could be continuing to sell in a similar fashion and does not have to disclose until he reaches the next disclosure level.
Why is any of that relevant ? Well it could be the reason for the share price to be rooted in the band of 38 p to 41p and of course why would he be selling with anticipated positive news apparently just around the corner ( sometime ).
Posting on these boards is rare for me as I tend to observe , particularly when the dialogue is counter productive or in some cases destructive . Here it is constructive and with a balanced view coming from sensible challenges and hence I think questioning the current situation helpful for everyones understanding of what we have our money invested in and the possible outcomes . Hopefully that is of benefit even if it only draws out your " history note " Right On which I am sure people have found of value .
Lets hope 2021 delivers what we expect here but also more importantly some good news for the human race .
Holding on here , patiently , although feeling frustrated by the lack of definitive time lines on the long awaited PEA. I would sooner be given a firm date , that the BOD know they can achieve ,than this vague , next few weeks , early this and late that .
Just get some credibility back in to the communications.
At the moment I have more confidence in Right On's posts than the RNS's !
My concerns here are the lack of volume in the shares , the lack of interest being shown by PI's on this board ( without MTSparky and Right On it is frankly mostly redundant ) and the mis-match of the share price to the apparent wealth of the resource . Sure you see that last point on stocks such as EUA , OMI , AAU , AMC but they do have healthy followers and investors . I am not saying they are a better investment for that - I have exited from all bar one of them , at an overall profit and have kept PXC , even with a smallish loss . The difference with PXC is the apparent lack of investment interest at a time when gold , silver and copper are riding high and we are lead to believe we are just a few weeks away from the revelation that is , the PEA . I really don't want to hear more about Covid delays , last minute additions of other metals to boost the economic case etc . Nor do I want to have to understand that the share price is still being weighed down by the largest shareholder continuing to off load shares - WHY?
Previous announcements have been positive about the amount of PM's present so logically the economic case must be stronger , unless the extraction cost has ballooned.
So I am holding tight at the moment unless i see the SP fall further or more silence or delays on the PEA , which will be my tipping point , more that a further SP drift downwards.
Does anyone have a view on the possibility and timing of a fund raise - assuming they accelerate the copper mining to take advantage of the rising copper demand / price ?
Right On , appreciate the value of your informative and constructive input . Do you know whether the BOD intend to beef up the PR rather than lean heavily on your efforts ?
This share is not widely followed ( unloved by the market at the moment - why baffles me ).
Thanks.
Hope this link helps the debate .

My first post here , having built up a reasonable holding over the last few months - a lot this week with the baffling drop in the share price . Have been with GGP and still am , although already taken the big profits . GGP still has some way to go , not as good as previous , but still decent potential . Agree with both AG1989 and OilMonkey 's comments.
OMI could be very lucrative and has been through some derisking but I am curious as to why the opportunity is seen as superior to GGP ?
It seems from the comments today it is all about superior grades - is that the only difference or have I missed something ?
Just to be clear , given the choice of buying either OMI shares or GGP , based upon current SP's , I would go for OMI as it seems to be under valued less visible and therefore potentially has more scope to increase in value.
In spite of my monicker , remaining positive in the belief that what is in the ground is going to beat previous assessments and with the lower than normal mining costs, which are also environmentally more acceptable , a route to mining will become very clear in the short term .
There is the possiblity of some Covid driven delay but we should hear something next week , one way or the other .
Thanks Sparky - fingers (and everything else) crossed !
Hopefully , the BOD will sing it loud and drive some activity in the share volumes.
Here's to a good start to next week.

Anyone have a view on when the PEA will be disclosed for Empire - promised mid Q4 2020 ( RNS 16 Sept ) ?
If delayed because of Covid , just communicate with shareholders .
Been a holder here for sometime but just been observing the comments on this board . PXC has a lot of positives and it appears the Board want to engage with shareholders so a little surprised we have not heard anything on this important document .
Thanks Docmonkeyman . Appreciated .
Anyone know why the drilling announced in the RNS of 13 July 2020 has never been mentioned since ? Results ? Perhaps related to the Cobre deal or I have just missed them ?
Odd share this , management seem to have done the right things and made some good calls but it appears there is little belief by the market in the potential of some shrewd investments . Ok everyone is not a winner but that is the nature of investing.
Probably exited from GGP too early but so did a lot of others .
Thanks.
