That thought had crossed my mind but it had been mentioned that buying any significant amount of shares has been tricky.
But then director deals would not be allowed in any period like this, they have loads of options to boot anyway.
We have to sit an wait and see if anything comes of this EGM for Echo, but we still have plenty to look forward to over the coming months if it does not. But it is the first EGM spotted by an investor of CGC, their website gives very little away..

If any of the drills bring a significant discovery they will know doubt be happy to take it off our hands....

I have no idea, but they are 3 hours behind us. But like it states it's an Extraordinary General Meeting...Hmmmm same time as TA 1 result...Here's hoping, but it may be nothing to do with ECHO at all....

I am not 100% but I believe they are a private company owned by various shareholders, unlike ECHO a Public company (PLC),
and so not listed

Although the CGC EGM and any connection with ECHO maybe speculative, it should not be ruled out. What else are CGC involved with a present that would seek the need to call an EGM. They are partnered with us on exploration drilling for multi TCF possibilities. Any major find would be of considerable significance to them and they would carefully need to look at options. I presume at any time ECHO could have a offer from any other company for a take-over, I don't think CGC would want that and would seek to take the 19% we hold from us, they were happy to take the additional 31%. If you check out their additional assets they own 100% of the majority.
We have yet to see data that the newly acquired 3D has to offer in re-computed figures, which could significantly increase the possibilities.
That being said if the EGM is nothing to do with ECHO we are still waiting for much news here, testing should be complete on TA 1, Santa cruz should be in test phase and announcement of 2nd TA drill.

Monday morning could be interesting or in fact all day. My guess would be if the EGM of CGC is in someway connected to Tapi Akai and ECHO an RNS could come at the close of play or Tuesday morning.(So fill your boots lol)
But one thing is for sure, since this was first mentioned the trading here changed and perked a little compared to the last few months

Well what a strange end to the week, it's impossible to work out what goes on here with the MM playing games.
AIM such a casino, more a kin to Russian Roulette. Buys greater than Sells and we are red...

We will have to wait and see on what the RNS's reveal, I am sure any discovery they'll put a monetary value to it, if TA 1 is reasonable it will rally investors, the past is the past, we look to the future

Absolutely right, I was always amazed at sou's mcap, north of £750m without any discovery...all on hype....if sou had success the investors would prob have flew in here, unfortunately it didn't happen. At the time JP came into irg/echo sou holders were very bitter, but it actually recovered a huge loss for me under Greg Colemans reign!! some win some lose that's a fact of life

Good morning, you have to be reasonably optimistic of success or why invest. Exploration is all about speculating, high risk high reward. In echo's history we have had 4 failed wells too date (one could have been commercial but it was the cost of infrastructure that held it back at the time) perhaps our fortunes are about to turn, only time will tell. We still have 3 more drills to come, on the Western Cube, several have had gas discoveries in the past in the area, so who knows what they may fine...Here's hoping for a blue day to end week

I still stand by my speculation that the EGM of CGC could be linked in some way to TA drill 1, I won't repeat what I have said prior but yes a substantial discovery, which is the whole reason for drilling! On analysing all the data with 4 drills (possibly 5) they will no doubt select the most appropriate.
However we may still be in the testing phase and so the meeting has no connection. It is possible that each zone will be tested individually. This would require a "double wing" on the "Christmas tree" (or production tree) each connected to one of two "tubing strings". Then each tested using various chokes to calculate flow rates and volumes etc. This of course will double the test time, but we may have the results of one so far. Unless we have an inter-day RNS it could well be next week, and thus 6 weeks from the start of the stimulation.
The drill at Santa Cruz should start the next stage shortly, as it was stated the second half of Feb.
Still no details on the second drill on TA....hmmm could we speculate on why not...lol

I think that is a basic requirement to judge whether or not to invest in any company. You would like to think the 3D would provide more accurate information for the better or worse. Considering it was paid for by dilution do you not think we have a right to know? Very poor investor relations.
PS still no reply from Sarah, that to me means it's either a communication breakdown or lock-down!! Hmmmmm could speculate on that couldn't we....lol
