Interesting as to why PH would go down a piecemeal route, with all the declarations of TR1's, as they know full well that is going to lead to to potentially large jump in the SP.

Why wouldn't they just negotiate a purchase from another majority holder, at a premium to the 0.2p that is being touted as the best case scenario?

One thing I learnt from this company, is there never appears to be any good news.

Hedgehog, My 'strong buy' view here was at 8.25p. So it's doing well so far. Apologies if you felt I insulted you twice, but you referred to "massive NAV writedowns" being due here with nothing really to back that comment up.

The share you have recommended, ARA, appears to have a spread of 22.2%. Ie. That signals to me, that an individual can lose nearly a quarter of their capital as soon as they buy into it. Also, given the low number of shares in issue, there could likely be problems even selling any purchased shares, due to a lack of liquidity.

Let's also not forget, Hambro Perks, deciding to fold, so the sentiment of cash shells like ARA, isn't exactly at the highest it's ever been.

Nonetheless, I do wish you well in your investment there.

Revenue growth, GP stagnant and net cash is now negative. In talks with debt providers (will be interesting to see at what cost) to arrange funding. Bit of a mixed bag IMO, depending on views as to what the debt funding is going to cost, if they do indeed manage to arrange. GLA, AIMHO, DYOR.

You however refer to "general massive ratings downwards" and "massive NAV writedowns" coming up, which is fair enough, as you are entitled to your opinion, but I certainly doubt you have any numbers to back those comments up, I'll therefore await an RNS from the company to clarify the latest potfolio valuation update, and then I will take my own view as to whether I feel those valuations are conservative enough or not.

You however are trying to flog a completely different company, which looks like a cash shell that has yet to make an acquisition of a company in the sector you are saying has been suffering. Surely the cash would be better deployed in a company that has suffered than sat around burning?

You clearly have a holding in the company you are advertising and it looks to me like you are trying to drum up demand, to artificially pump the SP.

Hedgehog, This company already has positions in some very decent prospects. Waste to fuel for a company backed by Maersk, one of the largest shippers in the world. Also, a canadian company working on C02 capture technology. Last reported NAV on Ix.NetZero was around £60mil, and it's traded as low as £7mil MCAP in last few weeks. Its MCAP is still less than £20 mil, after the recent rise. That's still a substantial discount to NAV. I'll let people decide if after doing their own research they feel this is a decent prospect. I bought in under 10p and continue to hold.

Agreed, sounds like an amicable split and the ropey markets caused by the "mini budget" caused them not to be able to raise sufficient capital. Still deemed it to be a good company though and sounds like the DD didn't throw up any nasty surprises.

One thing of note is the areas they are exploring mentioned in the video, waste to fuel, C02 Capture being notable mentions.

I bought into another company called IX.NetZero which has exposure to those two industries already, mainly as it was trading at a 90% discount to reported NAV and it's done well the last week or so. I know the industry isn't necessarily talk of the town at the moment, but a 90% discount felt ludicrous, when looking at the potential of their investments.

Hopefully NZI releases an RNS soon indicating an acquisition in the pipeline! Even if it is Taylor Construction that would be welcomed.

'Thetruth23' appears to have some sort of agenda, as why post on a company they don't have an interest in. Other than abuse the BOD by posting insulting comments based on their capability, they seem to struggle with providing anything with credibility.

IMO NZ is still big on govt agenda, but took a back seat primarily due to the immediate requirements of energy by nations, caused by the conflict in Ukraine.

What this has highlighted is the requirement for cleaner alternative sources of energy at a more quicker pace and I personally feel there are opportunities in this space, which have the opportunity for substantial long-term gains.

SirJames, that was an RTO as I recall. Standard process to request suspension on announcement of RTO.

PH will have a client that wants a listing, and I don't think I've ever seen a shell with a 150k MC. The lowest of the ones I know are at 5x that, albeit, they do have more cash than this one. Still, I thought they were undervalued.

Peel TR1 is a big big signal IMO of where this looks like it could be going.

Sham was posting factually based on the likely scenario from the RNS announcement (almost like a shareholder protection officer albeit lol), but they severley dismissed the RTO route by saying it wouldn't happen.

Seasoned investors know that everything has a price, and whilst a cash shell may not be as desirable as it was 2 years ago, it will still will have its value to someone...

I bought a very small position after the Peel RNS. Why?

Because it appears to me they could be acting on behalf of a client who wants a listing.

They are an IB who will no doubt have clients they advise, who are looking to be brought to the market. What way is better, than currently a 150k valued listed cash shell.

Deeply intriguing... and could be fun.

Reardon95, i do hope you don't lose more than you can afford, but in reality this share is a complete basketcase.

In its current guise; it's little more than a cash cow for the remaining BOD to milk. However, if someone were to come along and take the shell, it could be interesting to see what happens.

I'm just very surprised there are no takers, given it is trading on an MC of 150k. In normal times, I would expect to see a company snap up such a listing, because an IPO can cost a business millions and takes time. Why worry about that, when you can get a listing for a fraction of the time and cost.

From memory, I don't recall ever seeing a smaller MC company with a market listing than this.

Seems having a play with Cine and Amigo, provides the necessary experience for dabbling with insolvent companies that have a tendency to multi-bag without any solid news. Difference here is this has a hell of a lot less shares in issue than both of those two.

If someone wanted a listing, why on earth wouldn't they snap this up? Anyone know any reasons, why this wouldn't be viable, I'm struggling to think of any serious concerns as to why an interested party shouldn't negotiate a purchase of the CEO's shares, to obtain control and pursue an RTO.

Totally against how this business has been run, but surely clean out the current BOD raise some fresh share capital, and this listing could have a value for someone? At 150k, it seems a joke. IPO can cost millions, so I'm surprised why nobody has shown interest.

Value of investments increase. It doesn't generate revenues as such, but the value of it's investments appreciate in value, which are recognised as a gain to the P&L.

Not good is it really. Doesn't exactly give a lot of confidence for those holding.

How can people have confidence in providing capital to such businesses, that undertake such terrible actions to rip off their investors. Where's the fiduciary duty? Why have a regulator when a company can do this? Surely it gives other businesses the incentive to perform such underarm tactics.

Not good at all, and a real shame. It would be excellent for justice to be served and these made and example of, to stop any future occurance.

Based on the current SP, I would have to say there should definitely not be any management bonuses payable as the company has lost circa 90% of it's value since listing... but clearly the market capitalisation and the underlying value of a business aren't always aligned. I see that NAV growth of circ 8% was reported in the interims.

"By way of further alignment to shareholders and the creation of shareholder value, in respect of the 2022 Bonus Shares and CEO Bonus Shares, the shares subscribed for by Mr Lindström pursuant to each of these bonus schemes will be subject to a risk of forfeiture and may not be sold or otherwise transferred until such forfeiture risk has lapsed. Specifically, Mr. Lindstrom may not sell, transfer, or otherwise transact in these shares until such time as the risk of forfeiture with respect to the bonus shares has lapsed. This forfeiture risk will expire if and when the Company's Net Asset value reaches and exceeds $120 million within the 24 month period following their issue ("NAV Hurdle"). If the NAV Hurdle is not met in that time period, the bonus shares will be forfeited back to the business"

Company has a current Market Cap of £7m and the last NAV reflected $66m. The shares Mr Lindström receives can't be transacted until the NAV reflects $120m within 24 months of their issue. So that's roughly a £100m NAV.

Looks a decent value play for me...
