So you think they took a break from the mortgage to preserve cash, with the associated risk of a mortgage holiday showing on there credit profile and then they went out and bought a hot tub at an inflated price. Mmmh.
The deferred mortgage holders weren’t the spenders in Covid.
The meeting will be about interest only and term extensions both of which will amount to a more expensive product in the long run. You can count on the bbc to find someone who’s ‘in a crisis’.
Hey jax
Why didn’t you take advantage of one of the visa schemes as you dislike the uk so much? Could of moved to Ireland or Portugal for £500k. Assume a smart guy like you could have that covered?
A bit more inflation does what? Pushes the bond prices up, yes. But people won’t go without a phone, it’s the equivalent of cutting your own arm off. It also ensures a guaranteed rise in next years bill, which has already increased by 14% as of April this year in the uk. No point swapping provider either as they’ll all lift by the same amount give or take.
Yes I’m aware of the structure. I’m sure the company’s purchased would of had attractive valuations applied in order to acquire them. As with most buyouts, the director shareholders do very nicely with initial payments and the rest follows in other combinations, but if that part doesn’t quite work, they still have usually done very well out the deal.
I was in S4 a few years ago and have always looked for an opportunity to get back in, which I think could be shortly.
However, I have a friend who has sold a few marketing agencies and done very well out of them. He has always insisted that when you sell, the top talent eventually leaves, once the packages are fully settled, and then what are you left with in terms of creativity and ambition? I’m afraid I can see this here. SMS has bought lots of small owner businesses, that the owners have done very well from, then bundled them together. Is that enough?? Do they all fit together like a well lilies machine with scale and efficiency? I’m not convinced.
The other bone of contention is sms age and more recently, his health. I will consider buying the stock at sub £1.
Loads of names not normally here today on the rns news.
The comments have one thing in common, they are all short term, short dated and based on a short term trade. VF stated they want to be the superior 5G over the course of the next 5-10 years, so if you align your investment with that, we’re do you think the price will be?
