Tbh if you ask a few funds 1 question: Would you invest in the actives division alone? It's a resounding no. A bit more varied for other divisions, but it's literally no all the way otherwise.

Croda in net margin terms would do great. Looking at 50% possibly. But again, it's not enough in cash terms to interest funds, obviously, in that division

Was actually very surprised to learn how low a % total ingredients cost is in a total package/pot cost for high end, and how much less for mid point etc. Learn something every day.

Looking at selling millions of pots in sales per year just to , say, cover group costs.

Summary: The money is in the blag, not the sales.

Now you can go to the extremely high end. Re spend the most on ingredients . looking at maybe 50p per pot (very high price market)

But thats much less volume . And if you start pricing for slightly less high end markets, then the price will have to drop for high end too.

Really, imo, it's not going to produce a lot for croda or sbtx.

Id prefer to think he was dumping out all OPTi shareholders value in SBTX, for pennies to mates and 3rd parties for a cut on a blag that's post his seat.

2400s/300s makes sense for a punt. Not so sure id auto order it though. Id need to see if a real market exists there. In the interim, Sachs are on the ball with this one, and knowing their form, will downgrade it on approach
