I f every Tom, Dick n'Harry' fund know they can buy a fully proven deal for 1.1 down the road, why would anyone think all the big deals they 'se' that print, would be them buying at 0.8?

It's also why it is difficult to get them to visit little caps . To them it's trading only, not a lot of research required and so, not worth discussing.

Where they do invest, they also trade it. Re where intention is to hold, another book will trade it's windows as well, including shorting even when holding.

The sad part is this guys. You think you know more than traders. Assured, the traders know investors better than anyone. Why? They have to. They even need to know where funds like pensions will operate etc (when beyond day trading) etc.

Dudes, the traders I know, are master investors. That's why they do not invest on little caps

Of course as in any work, the advantage and disadvantage is mostly in having, or not having the data at each phase

They do not understand the damage ramping causes. Years ago it was the norm but not most systems red flag it. Esp systems used by major funds to screen medias for sentiment
