If the big director buys were part of employment contract re x times salary (A common thing these days), and the timing was to create liquidity to let the funds out yesterday - the outlook at CRDA is worse than I even suggested.

For those not used to markets re do proper jobs that actually matter to the world, you would hope they just do 'hit for value' established ETF's. ETC's etc in ISA's and SIPP's. Possibly a punt here n there in an established sector on a big cap.

At least to understand how the whole system/mechanism has to be bent and not just a CEO etc, is highlighted beautifully in SBTX

The bosses buy amounts seem an awful lot like contracted to x times or x of salary . Could be wrong but common amounts on salary scales, for such in contract
