As for broker notes, they can't be chasing up every sort of outlet for data. They can rightfully assume that anything material is in an RNS, from accounts to progress etc

On that basis, everyone should be over the moon with a 29p outlook

An independent note would have been an auto 2.7p with little choice. Maybe a section on what could change that, but 2.7 would have been the call on all known material data

Preferably not one subject to 50000 interpretations.

Forget blagging all things CRDA as reason to buy. Embarrassed yourselves enough 2024-2025 with that one

500 samples ordered via Singapore etc, is not going to cut it for CRDA funds. Neither is any expected net return. CRDA have their own issues to deal with. Looking at some of the dumps over there, I think some funds expect yield to take a hit, or removed altogether.

Given the blag and director buys etc letting them out, it's near 99% on the cards imo

Brings us back to the broker note fiasco, and it being incorrect, and article 17 and god only knows what else. Never mind Croda numbers

All material information must be disclosed equally to all market participants

No selective disclosure to specific groups before public announcement

All material information (or misinformation), is supposed to flow through the RNS system. The regulators have lagged for a long time, on where most of that actually occurs. But i think they are close to having it nailed now. At least in technology terms. Given how blatant some of the crud is in many UK RNS's, maybe it's just lipstick rather than going to have affect anyway.

But there is a caveat to it all. Class actions. UK way behind on this with regards to info asymmetry. But that may be about to change you know

A massive blind spot for the regulators are pay walls. If you know flag thresholds plus operate info asymmetry in that fashion, AI cant detect anomalies when reading the RNS system etc.

But the problem now is that FCA , SFO etc AI systems, i believe, are monitoring BB's and all sorts. I think the idea is that if AI flags info of note, they then check out the stock itself. Something like that anyway. Personally i think they should just subscribe to all known paywalls. Maybe some did recently. I've no idea
