Zero shares just bought/ sold

Spread narrowed because of 2.5m shares sell at lunchtime today so took the opportunity to top up. This has become a rather large bet for my small pocket but surely we will know our fate any week now.

He is a seasoned gambler and some of his bets go wrong - check his posting history of companies in which he has invested.

Yes but check out page 13 of 2019 Annual Report. There are substantial holdings in nominee accounts. There may be an awful lot of PIs invested in GGP but where are the IIs hiding?

Dodge, got it thanks. I benefitted from SB in GGP and am fortunate to be in with an average below £2. I follow his history of chats; others might not have done so and not be aware of his big gambling bets and the points you make today and in the past. ATB

But if he didn't buy in May 2018 when the company was down after NM walked. He bought around 7% of the company shares at that time. If he had not bought where would the company be now and how many more billions of shares might have needed to be placed in order to raise money to start the drilling at Havieron?

Perhaps he sold out because he thought there was not any immediate prospect of a buyout of GGP which is what he was really after given the size of his holding.

Hi Islandgirl, your posting history does not now go back to September 2014 but I think I remember your posts from that year and the time I invested in Blinx shares following one of your comments/ recommendations ( I was not a chat member in those days). Yes they say the market is forward looking up to 6 months into the future . This anticlimax is just a blip.

Having to read between the lines, no comment yet by Paddy and sliding NCM share price does not very inspiring. But looking on the bright side the temperature has dropped to a more comfortable level.

Expectations are that the share price will go up after good news however, recently after news the GGP share price has dropped because of traders taking profits hence the expression 'buy on the rumour sell on the news'. However, some of us hope it will be different "this time" and the share price will continue to rise. Some people say take a chance and sell on the news and buy back cheaper but I have never had the nerve to do that but if I had, with hindsight, I could have made tens of thousands of extra pounds or significantly increased by holding. Don't do it sit on hands. GL

There you go - a buy at 0.27p (yesterday offer price) shows as 8.98% rise this morning.

0.245p UT so that is the closing price. That is the price from which the percentage up or down movements will be calculated tomorrow.
