I thought like Spratt and instead of using a lump sum to pay off our mortgage I used the money to invest in the stockmarket - bit by bit lost the lot. Fortunately, my wife stepped in to pay off the mortgage. Always regretted not paying off the mortgage. You never know what the future holds. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I wonder how long it is going to take to crack 25p - a lot of investors/ traders will be doubling around that price and there is a stockmarket saying "sell half on a double". But we know GGP is the exception to the rule so perhaps not too long to wait.

I really did press that sell button but NT saved me and the immediate urge to top slice has passed for the time being.

Broker had in fact posted a proxy form for me to sign and return to them so problem resolved. I think I will vote if only to use my right to do so. Pity there is no resolution about director renumeration!

What is the mm (don't know the term) size of shares?

Can't sell - NT to sell 100k of shares. So can't benefit from the high price.

The reason to consolidate is not that there are too many shares (look at the FTSE 100 companies) but rise above 'penny share' status and encourage more IIs to invest.

Never seen that before 4 pages (200 items) of late reported trades. Bots working overtime!

Thanks S740 and Irishmouse. So I need to contact my broker which by past experience is not easy as I use Iweb if I want to make my vote. I have a very modest shareholding so it would not be worthwhile unless people think there is something controversial to vote on.

There are two special resolutions 7 and 8 are these controversial?

7. To disapply pre-emption rights.
8. To authorise the Company to make market purchases of ordinary shares.

Preemptive rights are a contractual clause giving a shareholder the right to buy additional shares in any future issue of the company's common stock before the shares are available to the general public.

Not sure whether they are talking about purchase of shares in AAOG or some other company; and where will the money come from ?

I see there was an RNS on 8th September about the AGM (must be losing my marbles which can happen at 71 years of age). Still I would be grateful if someone can help with my question about the proxy form.

I think the late trades have been counted on the share price but the good thing is that the share price was pretty steady at the highs throughout the day and dipped only after 16:15 that is a very strong performance. I speculate more of the same tomorrow but I would have preferred finishing at an all time high. Are these front runners willing to pay more than 22p -ish? We will see tomorrow. GLA

As far as I am aware trading takes place during normal trading hours therefore these are late reported trades (not after the bell trades).

Re Proxy form - my shares are in an ISA - if I complete the proxy form and return it will it be accepted or does it need to be endorsed by my trading platform/ broker?
