Disappointing close

Anyone care to make a forecast of today's closing price?

94.94p looks a good number to me

I previously bought shares at 95.45p and I am hopeful that the paper losses will be recouped this week. Looks like £1+ is not too far away so good luck too to those who bought at higher prices.

Laidback not you I think, but didn't some people forecast 250p by 2019. Bring on $80+ oil and who knows.

Are GS buying on behalf of PMO to reverse the dilution that took place from the convertible bonds? Does PMO have the mandate to buy up to 10% of the equity whenever it chooses to do so? With FCF what is to stop them doing that given the 'low' share price? Is this a conspiracy theory too far?

Auson thanks - I was not aware of euroclear. Nearly a 1/5th of the stock on loan certainly worthy of attention but at least it is not stock sold otherwise where would the share price be!!!

I tried to search euroclear as a guest for PMO data but without success

lending and borrowing programme can be used to:

Cover shorts
Optimise settlement
Fund collateral

Auson please would care to elucidate on "shorts have risen to a very high level". Reported shorts stand at 3.41%
