I wouldn’t be surprised to see a fire breaker type lockdown happen immediately after Christmas Day / Boxing Day ( possibly earlier). Seeing and hearing about many working in NHS getting positive results . We are heading to the collapse of services .

Well there you go another wave to hit the US in approximately a month and we are likely to issue our sprinter results in a little over a month.

Well it sounds like we are all hearing of individuals who have had breakthrough infections and that’s pretty unsurprising given how interconnected we are these days.

Unsurprisingly my farther 72 , over weight with type 2 diabetes was a breakthrough infection two weeks ago and almost called for the ambulance but seemed to over come things well at home over 10 days. He passed on the virus to both my mum and brother at their workplace. They both tested positive but neither had more than a head ache and loss of taste for around three days. My brother lives with 6 others and none of his co inhabitants caught it from him. All double jabbed.

Extrapolate that scenario across the whole population and I would say that’s what everyone is experiencing in sone way or another. This is a completely terrible attempt of a scientific analysis I know.

When I think back to when India was in the grip of delta I knew of a family of 7 all living together who all contracted it . Two members of the family died none were vaccinated. Extrapolate their scenario across india or even Delhi where they lived and that wouldn’t have been unsurprising I guess at the time.

I have never used the word anecdotal as much as I have in the last 18 months but these are just anecdotal (real) stories I have which help me corroborate what scientist tell us. Mainly because I know these people and trust.

On another note I’m 38 and went to a music event with 500 people indoors two weeks ago and none of my 8 fully vaxxed mates came down with symptoms of any illness since .
