We need sells. My thinking is there's too many small pi's who have brought into this. Until they off load them or at least some of them they wont let this go pass 160p!

Velo it is a bad day. Because if ftse decided to give up its gains this would happily follow it down. Thats the problem on the up days there isn't much up on the down days its happily marked down.

Hi h. I said sell half move into fres at 850p. Thats 7% up this 2% down.

Nick read has alot of shares. So he feeling the pinch like us. He wont be sellin no million shares at this price. Like he did at 185p! He should of put 2 million in at 165p rather than 200k.

They dont need to give it to us. They can use it to pay down debt. And keep our 9% yield!

It never goes up in a straight line. If it follows last thurs will be some dips which will turn into a rise later.

Thurs 1st nov it went from 147 to 152. Would be nice if it can do it today. I dont want it to get to 160 before news as that will cause profit taking after news. Id prefer 154/155 then a sudden rush to get in. To get this to 165p.

JackD I never sell at a loss. I just increase my timeframe. I dont look at the red figure in my PF. Because that just makes you suicidal. I tell myself I suffered a 18p drop so Il wait now for 18p rise from my break even. 1 year or 10 years itl happen. Always does . In the mean time enjoy some divis. Whether 4% or 9%.

Mikey we mentioned insider trading and they got worried. We are 3.5 trading days from results. And 13 days from divi record date. Most stocks would go up. Unles the market does know something we dont.

I got this ugly feeling its convertible bonds holding this down. They get priced at 20% premium to share price. They wont mind 160/170 they would mind 200/210.

I didnt put it to work yesterday. Its not mine. Its the kids savings account. I figure 8-9% here for 12 years will be better than savings account.

Still hoping for 165p nov/dec. 3 things will get this moving. Results. Eu takeover agrees. And them bloody convertible bonds will be priced in december.
