Trouble was I wasn't looking at the news - came up on my stock scanning this morning as a Rounded Bottom Breakout candidate, but haven't been trading those much as not had much success with them. If I had looked at the RNS (as I later did) I defo would have bought as charts + news = confirmation of what to do! So there you go - those who don't like TA can have a pop!

I could have had a better one - finger hovered over the buy button on a quote for GDR this morning at 24.1 and I didn't bloody take it!!!!!!!

Tony - what timeframes do you work on and what settings do you use for Stochastic? I tend to try and use %D period of 3, so think I am working on longer timeframes.

Before anyone jumps on me I trade for fun, but am LTH with a large main holding here which I don't touch

Yep 007 - having a chance to consider it I think that might be it. So for those the other day that were worried about Polygon's intentions this could clear it up - they aren't looking to play games regarding a TO. They are in big as they see the opportunity, and are covering the risk. They are along with the ride with the rest of us. If you are reading this - welcome on board Reade!

Read further down the TR1. They are taking out CFDs. As Polygon are not able to buy enough on the open market without shifting the price too much higher they are taking out CFDs from:

1. Aurora Nominee Ltd

2. Natixis

3. Jeffries International Limited

4. JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.

Sigh - it's not tanking as it's only a few percent down. It'll probably retest 175 as this has been resistance for a very long time and we'll see if it acts as support
