8% down today -- can the 'happy clappy' people explain this ?
......and typical bids are SP x 1.5 so --- 'instant mega loss' -- the only positive is that as we know this is a lifestyle company so the BoD will not let their gravy train grind to a halt !
i see this share like toothache in my portfolio. okay a not insignificant loss but when pulled it will be all over. but anyone who relies on aim shares for their pension pot is not wise ! there are other ****** ceos on aim besides km !
Must admit even the 'crew' havent been on lately with their 'research' ?
Im hedging my bets just sold a block of 10000 earlier as this may go sub 30p. Sad really I have done very well out of this in the past. But EV's ownership is under quite a bit of pressure at the moment...
UKOG - probably one of the finest companies UK has ever produced !
Dont forget nervousness over EV battery fires and before anyone says Luton fire was a diesel vehicle, there have been loads of cases of EV batt fires in fact a Tesla dealership in France was burnt to a crisp by one !
Surprising SP is going up given the placing today ?
I guess this is one of the reasons why LSE is having difficulty attracting good companies eg ARM ?
Trouble is if this does become commercially sexy there are a multitude of ways AIM companies can pull the rug on private investors. eg BCN where the BoD took a suspiciously low-ball offer from a Chinese company which the PI's didnt have enough voting HP to overturn, or IEnergiser which gained overall share control and decided to delist onto JP Jenkins thus causing SP to crash to circa 1/6 of it previous price - if indeed you could get anyone to buy them ! I'm not saying this will happen here but we have a long way to go to even get back to 3p and have the liquidity to get the hell out of dodge !
EV - for once we are in agreement. A state (especially one as shambolic as Mexico) isnt really able to take advantage of its resources on its own with.out specialist companies eg the oil business. The Chinese will have seen this as a risk for some time - in fact I think Secker may have even considered it a risk which may have been why he bailed on such a low-ball deal..
They've all lost us money ????
CC - Share discussion bravado at its best !
Guess - the gravy train has slowed right down ???
I dont look in here very often, but this share is a classic example of a company hat if non-stock market funded would HAVE to have gone into liquidation ages ago. People like Sanderson start these companies because they know they can get many years of standard CEO salaries before the beast dies and in the unlikely event of actual business success, a bit of a cherry on the cake....
Lets go with an AIM bulletin board favourite - "price being pushed down to let one of the big boys in" - always a classic !
Now get the share price up - that really would be a great piece of work !
Degsie - thank you for confirming what I already think about many posters on here who feel that these BB's influence the SP heavily and are only to be used for Rose tinted views of the company. I think its a bit late for me to be doing any damage to the SP right now and I'm not alone in this view. If this was a proper company we could get rid of the CEO or even some of the BoD but they are here forever laughing at all of us because they know we cant band together and for a controlling number of votes ....
I am becoming fascinated by rampers on here and most other sites too. Do Jimb and EV get paid or are they trying to protect a very large holding ???? The time they seem to spend doing their so-called research does not normally fit with someone with only a passing interest in a share ???? Also, rather like Putins bot-rooms they never seem annoyed withy the clearly terrible CEO and board we have here ??
Bannor - thats a toughie !
