Take a look at the Net asst value of this share -21 pence per share.
As for value in the ground, look back at their Gold Mining ventur a few years ago.
On top of that they have never come close to profitability let alone be considered a Divendend payer, so who who even consider investing in this ,no one.
The BOD if they ever meet ,Unlikely, it is a scam for the Directors, who pay themselves in shares.
No one would be allowed to buy it, or consider a merger in this lot.
Think about it.
The only reason I am still here is because they watered down the shareholders holdings by a Consolidation quite a while back to raise funds for themselves.
This BOD is no different than the previous bunch of fraudulent scammers.
At that time I held a Million Shares.

Maybe the slowdown in production ,due to clearance, by accident or stupidity may work well for the profitability.
Production set to increase with a better price for the product.
Needs gold to continue rising ,how high ,who knows.
