As commentators say ,its about currency debasement now ,with the $ in the middle of it all.

Trump got much critique ,which is well deserved , but I am afraid if Vance were to be his succesor , nothing much would change,having listened to his recent speeches.

But hey ho the world will carry on ,bearing in mind all the sensationalism and hot air being spouted about global war,. As one commentator said ,we have been in WW3 for several years ,economic war ,and so it will hopefully continue, Tarriffs do not destroy populations , people adapt.

Donald has really gone too far this time,but highly unlikely to change. The end result is much more pressure at home.

His health is without doubt not helping him ,but that is no excuse.

The mid term elections may finally finish him ,but not without a lot of kicking and screaming .

Not easy to get rid of him, his succesor will have tospend a long time building bridges , but hes good for us.

Along the way Trumpism has done Gold a big favour, along with alienating many Nato allies, or rather put the spotlight on itself and monetary policies. Which will soon be totally unsubstainable.

But for us shareholders far more good than could have been expected 12 months ago.

The only question is who comes next after him, an enourmous problem for the Dems and Republicans.

But Gold is up from Friday close $4597 to at this moment $4671 . I cannot remember Gold rising on a US market closure , but I may be wrong.

Usually the price of gold would drop back.

No matter what happens now the intentions and words that have been recently sown by political leaders cannot be changed, the world has been changed by brash and de-stableizing comments. What ever goes on in the minds of politicians that are supposed to represent their voters. It is apparent their parties donors , come first for monetary reasons contracts given. That in the past would have been corruption and misuse of taxpayers money.

But anyway we have tommorrow to contemplate. Good or bad ,that is enough .

That is the value of very recent Chinese sales of US government bonds. Whats more sold at a loss.

Why ? They are stategicly exchanging it for storable commodities , metals ,oil ,even grain.the list is endless.

Who is expected to buy the bonds ,according to the author UK and Belgium ,institutions like .Euroclear.

Not willing to really buy it , not possible without borrowing. As a final resort the US treasury will have to buy it back ,adding to their own horrific debt level.

Well Avi your Elliot wave predictions are also based on history.

Central banks continue to buy gold , the confidence in government bonds having dropped significantly lower ,due to militarising of currency,and freezing of assets. Those central banks buy physical for their own vaults as a tradind currency if needed .After all ,it will still be circulating in another thousand years, unlike paper.

So looks good for gold especially miners ,as long as reserves last. No need for us to worry about that though.
