Reported shareholdings by institutions (non chinese) on stockopedia suggests they own a combined 53% of the stock. If this figure is accurate does it not make any unwanted takeover unlikely?

Buy/Sell my understanding was always a buy has to have a sell with it! That the data, received by LSe or anyone else, is the date/time qty and value. It’s up to the receiving system to attach an attribute of buy or sell which it does based on the previous data it has received. This is why when stocks are volatile the buy or sell attribute is often wrong. Gla.

No thoughts on that CJ. But got back in a few days ago as I am hoping one day this prove to be more than s little gold mine.

Yes 0109 I couldn’t agree more. I don’t understand who moves this share, i.e. is it just the Market Maker, but to me there is neither rhyme nor reason. When they announced growth, so good that they needed to sub some of the manufacturing out (a couple of years ago) the share price tanked from 30 down below 20?
Having read today’s results I wasn’t even expecting a drop in sp. Go figure.
