Firstly let me say I am invested in both JOG and SQZ. Serica in the last day or so announced more acquisitions from Spirit Energy, who Chris Cox (CEO) knows well as he used to work for them. I have just watched a presentation they made to deliver the news. My attention was drawn to a map of the North Sea, which highlighted all the projects SQZ are involved in, including "Buchan Horst" and I thought JOG holders may be interest to hear a comment Cox made:

" AS you can see from this updated map, assuming we complete on all the deals we have announced, and by the way there is no reason to think that we won't, we will have assets across all basins of the UK continental shelf with the exception of the east Irish Sea from the west of shetland."

For me this is the clearest sign that my JOG investment, will one day come good.

Cox also commented on his disappointment that the EPL is to continue, also saying that the new formula to replace the EPL clearly demonstrates that there is no windfall warranting the industry to be taxed at 78%.

In BLOOM, PLUG and FUEL ranging from 8%+ to 30%+ would be nice to get similar here. Time will tell.

The company raised circa £30m at 10p per share a few months and since the issue the share price has spent most of the time below 10p, only recently exceeding 10p but struggling to exceed 11p. As a LTH todays news is difficult to swallow.

John Wilson came over (in a recent interview) as a decent and ambitious guy - the time is ripe to deliver that added value for all shareholders.
