The sector is on fire24 Apr 2026 23:36
I have been invested in AFC since 2014, I also invested in ITM pre COVID (initial investment at 590p) and more recently invested in CWR at 367p.
I have participated in all the fund raising by AFC over the years and now have many shares at an average of 14p. Bond was a crook, and walked away a very wealthy failure. The new team have invested their own funds and appear to have a product (ammonia cracker) and a credible plan.
Post COVID I have invested significantly in ITM reducing my average price to circa 82p and I am encouraged by the recent news flows that have driven the shares to over 150p this evening. I have bought and sold CWR several times over the last 4/6 months making significant profits and remain a holder with them sitting at 502p tonight.
AFC have been somewhat left behind, however I believe that will change in the coming weeks and months. The coming change of name, potentially represent a new beginning. Although there are a lot more shares in issue now, a few years back the market cap was in excess of £500m, today it is circa £150m, one decent RNS ( potentially involving the S&P partner) may well set us on a similar path to ITM and CWR - a little more patience is the order of the day.
