i just have a quick question regarding CFD which I hope you dont mind answering. Can you participate in the auctions before and after close? And do your orders go straight to the book? I presently use spread betting from time to time and pay for L2 market data so I was considering setting up a CFD account with IG and use their L2 so I wanted to see what the benefits would be. I didnt realise you still get the divi for the full whack of stock which is a big plus. ATB

that was 10th july......... they`ve issued another profits warning since then. i cant see this getting to 526 any time soon.

the director buys does give confidence, but given yesterdays news i dont think the sp will climb that much leading up to the next trading statement..... may get to the late 4s imo. So if there is another fall in profits this will get hammered . I try to use stop losses...... however you cant account for the huge amount of slippage when the stock goes straight to auction on bad news. gl

And sold up today. About 18% down so I hope I can recoup that somewhere else. My main concern is how likely is another profits warning and what would that do to the so. The profit warnings tend to come in 3s and if there is another one this could go to the late 2s... Also the mention of increased competition and price cuts doesn't bode well. Good luck all holders.

i think the market hoped for a quicker recovery. i will be happy if it closes at around 450p....... will put xaar in good stead for when the holiday season ends.

in june they advised revenue would be 130m and today it has been revised down to 115-120m....... sell off a bit over done i think. anything else ive missed?

I have this guy who keeps calling me from st james trying to get me to invest with them. If it was that good an investment why are they cold calling a retail punter? surely anything worth investing wil go straight to the funds and the small PI will get the rubbish!. Anyway wont be investing....... moan over!

I'm taking a look at press it and see that they make stainless pipe fittings which are similar to maypress. Can anyone advise if they do anything else and if there is any significant contracts in the pipeline.I see they are based in China which can cause a bit of concern but I know that these fittings are very dear to buy and with the right contracts this could rocket. Mc at 5m so would not take a huge contract to double that.

Agreed this does look good. I was looking at quite a few funds and seen that alot were holding xaar so when the price dropped I got in. The fundamentals also are good. If they break into 3d printing this could go wild. Gl

Have been looking in here since last September.... Should have bought at £10. Looks like a solid company with not much debt and making acquisitions . I'm looking at £18 near term... Rivaldo what do you think?.

That 88p is going to be hit soon and I would have thought £1 to follow. Tipeed today in the investors chronicle . The director share purchase and Neil woodford investment is going to be a major catalyst for PI . Atb

At these levels this is a steal. My father in law recommended this some more the back when it was tipped in the mail. He got in at the issue price so probably 40% down. Still will defo come back. Nice slow climb to £1. Now back off to oex to hopefully make some quick cash!
