It will be interesting to see if there will be any big sellers. I'm kind of hoping for a bargain here and am probably quite ambitious in hoping for around £8!

Results on the 29th

gold is is some serious trouble and alot of analysts are predicting $7-800 per oz. Next year will bring some great buying opportunities and i am going to keep an eye on the big players like randgold. If this does play out many many small cap miners like shg will simply shut up shop or go bust.

There will be no point in buying until the q2 statement as if the AISC stays much the same the downward trend will continue and may go to a silly level. And if it has come down substantially you will probably still get in below 6.5 p which would be a very good entry.

Too low volume for shorting. I think that there is something up here. We will know soon as the q2 statement should be out in a week or so.

As if the Kazakhs just want to swipe the assets and carry on with another company. This is the huge risk involved with any company working in that country. I certainly wouldn't touch another company over there. Gl all long termers.
