You would own a part of the business, in time if XPS grew to the size of Amazon that part would be valuable, Im sure you would get a good offer for your shares, could compare it to some one owning part of your property, you wouldn't want that, the question is how long? PJ obviously believes he can grow XPS to new levels or he would not have increased his ownership, I'm holding for now
Do you know how PJ managed to buy the shares (from I think Legal & General your broker confirmed) with out a directors rns? This could have had massive effect on our shares if he had managed to acquired enough share to de-list the company. That need checking and referring to the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee I would have thought ? Another possible he made the offer and is required of a 50+% holder, he may not be looking to increase his stake? just a thought, the 110m he bought last week is already showing a considerable profit. So many questions and possibilities, keep it coming chaps
Its an initial very low offer ( just an offer) not a serious offer just a starting place, the company doing well with cash and growth, that's why he wants its? all in IMO all the time the price rises then so will the offer, I'm not expert but that how I'm reading it He already has a ton invested and wants the rest, current buyers are forcing the offer higher knowing he will want to buy to complete the 75% required. IMO
It seems to me know one in this room has a clue whats happening lol :) all the time the share is rising and rising, cheer up chaps we are in a far better position now than Tuesday, if PJ wants the rest of the shares he,s going to have to pay much much more than offered. IMO
He bought a high percentage 2.42 his total investment must be around 10m? Plus the additional 6m he must have rock solid reasoning to want xps and no surprise it's a global tec platform with revised restructured streamlined infrastructure with T mobile contract and USA sim business Watch out
It's in every ones interest including the staff and directors to punch the price up considerably ,if the price flys then the additional 25% will cost much more and the overal price in comparison with the offer will be disproportionate
PJ obviously had a lot invested in this company and has now increased his position, this must be based on some thing he knows, to attain 75% will increase the price based alone on today's rise up 20%, All that said based on my recent investment decisions I would guess tomorrow will see a big drop
