WSJ: Bill Gates on His Climate Investments: The Early Winners and Long Shots

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on his climate-related investments, Bill Gates “predicted success for KoBold Metals.”

Look at other significant shareholders including Lloyd’s Banking Group etc, this is also Main Market Listed, hence such a thorough & detailed 2023 financial statement.

Yup, Mark Ward has continued to build a substantial holding which now tops 113M shares (24%) followed by Hargreaves Lansdowne at 91M (20%), plus various other significant holdings, free-float must already be pretty tight.

I suspect that there are also a number of shareholders that have built substantial holdings under the 3% reporting threshold.

Let’s see how progress continues with their stated goal to achieve £2Bn AUM by 2025.

As I posted before, The Company is in a BiD situation and part of the evidence made available to the panel will demonstrate that the Value being negotiated puts the ADS’s well above $1.00.

MCap is £8.1M and at 31st December 2023 we had £7.42M in Cash.

Paid off our debt and now debt free.

The Company is self financing and does not foresee the need to raise any additional equity capital.

Might add a few more at these prices - whilst plenty of Companies are struggling to raise cash & reduce overheads tje business model here is lean & tidy, add AUM and grow revenues & profits from a low cost base.

Severe Strain of Monkeypox probably not the best recent news, looking at the trades looks like someone de-risking a bit, but the MM’s wanted them all at that price, which bodes well.

If the ADS’s get delisted the only platform to trade the stock will be here.

This could have a significant effect on the value of the stock as the newsflow continues, we have more than one bidder, sell by all means, but when the real buying starts watch out!

One would assume that the BoD have evidence to suggest that the current offer puts the ADS well above $1.

7 MM’s on this & opened up 5.93% which is abit of a ruse, as they closed it down 1.29% on Friday after only solid buying, including a decent 200K buy after 4pm.

I suspect there isn’t much available at 2.6p so it will move up easily, then we’ll be ‘moving’ and on the leader board, which attracts further trader interest - the fact that substantial revenues are just around the corner May remind ‘non holders’ to take a position shortly.

I’m sensing a rekindled interest here after a 3 month lull, an announcement from WSG in the form of an RNS detailing the effective start of what is simply an enormous contract (compared to current MCap) will be issued.

Initial 10 year 5 Airport contract worth over £100M with plenty of additional opportunities to increase this revenue.

We just await detail on funding.

With a contract of this size and duration WSG is seriously undervalued, the market is waiting for confirmation that we can fund the contract & revenues are starting to roll.

It’s going to be interesting to see what else is announced once this is live.
