So you closed the other at just the right time?
Now your looking to open another are you?
Your timing is impeccable indeed - you must have lots of shorts on lots of Companies as it's all you ever post - and trying to open & close them all at just the right time is quite a feat.
One can be sure that Companies looking to come into the USA now are going to be fleeced for NEW licence costs.
Already being licensed in 28 States is certainly worth more than our current MCap - by a long way.
For Newcomers one issue but speed to the market is the other.
Much easier to piggyback an existing Company already well positioned.
This is going to get interesting fairly quickly.
The Position.
Established in the USA in 2013 and currently hold licences in 28 States.
Results last year showed small profit on turnover of $440M.
USA Supreme Court has passed legislation to allow gambling.
UK has tightened rules on value of bets placed.
WEBIS are actively seeking a partner to capitalise on its position.
MCap here is currently only 15M
It should be noted that a volume of 2M has put the SP up 15% - the stock is getting tighter as more load & hold for partnering news.
Trade some if that's your thing, but I would suggest keeping a core holding.
This hasn't started yet.
With the change in the UK betting laws diminishing bets significantly the USA will be overrun with Companies trying too increase market share.
Webis is well positioned.
How new UK betting legislation will affect the interest in new markets - like the USA.
Big pressure here tomorrow, either go out of business in the UK or partner with someone established in The USA.
Good evening. I’m following this but have bought more in ‘the other’ in the meantime.
I’d prefer to miss out on ‘a percentage’ here & wait for positive news, rather than invest on hope - I don’t like binary bets.
Following both & interesting to see what evolves.
