intervention is required, but winter conditions and the Christmas period make immediate action difficult. Rather than continue at around £150k per day under sub-optimal conditions, they’ve opted to pause, line up the required intervention, and potentially bring in a partner to help execute it properly.

If the flow rates prove out, Pantheon won’t take this forward on its own. That’s just how projects of this scale work.

The usual housekeeping comes first — board changes, bonds, balance-sheet structure. Seen in that light, the recent board meeting was inevitable and needed to happen before any stable flow results were released.

I expect a gas pipeline FID within the next two weeks.

If that all falls into place, it’s going to be a busy period on both the operational and financing fronts

Bought back in to Pantheon today on the basis of today's RNS

It is pretty clear that the deltaics are doing their usual thing of will she / won't she hoist her skirt at the start of what will be a long relationship.

Add in a long lateral with multi hydraulic fracks and clearly careful choke management, they are paying due respect to the soak and variable sands. We were told the well is still cleaning up. Good

The initial slugging of oil and then the on/ off flare are all exactly what we would like to see as this is important data.

The language of today's RNS was a studious exercise in neutrality except for the word "progressing" the appraisal. Choice of verbs is always, always the signal.

Hopefully, most folks recognise that these deltaics are predominantly a condensate, NGL, oil and then gas play in that commercial order. I was frankly a little surprised oil was seen so soon.

Is there enough methane to meet the needs for the Glenfarne Pipeline? That seems to me to be burning according to schedule and it would take a lot to dissuade me to the contrary. Therefore, we will get funding. It's how to spend it most efficiently that is likely to be the debate.

Perhaps for market participants, they should reflect on the timing of the webinar. Seriously, do you think that Pantheon are going to announce bad news with only a half day's trading on Christmas Eve? That would be suicidal.

IMHO, the news will be broadly neutral / positive. She is petulant but beginning to declare herself with sizeable liquids on an escalating trajectory, but too soon to declare
