The derampers know they will make some nervous investors sell, that is why they get up early and manufacture a negative narrative. Look at today; if those same derampers brought in today at 48.5p and managed to sell out at 51.5, they have made a 6% return in a few hours.

This is why it is SO important to do your own research, trust your instinct, try to remove emotion and take what everyone else says (especially on here) with a a pinch of salt. GLA

I was expecting a good day here today, look at the stats in America and in particular in Texas and Florida. A lot of the negativity towards ODX on this board today feels very manufactured.

I am holding through winter at least, a lot of the most exciting developments will be happening later in the year. There is huge news flow coming and the RTC DF when it comes is just the start. Then we have the Mologic news to look forward to. And it isn't all Covid, the company has exciting news flow for CD4 and Food Detective later in the year. Also, if Covid is going to come back to the UK in a second wave or peak, it will be winter when it will strike.

Excelent post MB, underselling and potentially overdelivering. 200k tests / week as a base case representing 10% of capacity is pretty phenomenal.

@unvrkw I totally agree, I think Collin has led us extremely well and people have been way to critcal of him, he is clearly thinking of what is best for the company and shareholders in the long term. It was great to hear yesterday that the capacity for Covid tests can potentially be used for other non covid tests when/if Covid finnaly dissappears.

I think that some of the frustration that people are having is that people have unrealistic short term SP targets and are too short sighted and get frustrated that Collin isn't constantly ramping us up and releasing a RNS every other day. But he is creating longer term value, not a hype, pump and pop bubble, that is not his style. I definitely prefer the undersell and overdeliver CEO style.

ublock origin is a great ad blocker for chrome or firefox, would highly recommend it for a much better internet experience.

Remember to whitelist the sites that you want to support though as running an adblocker removes the revenue stream advertising brings in for certain websites.

Covid stock holders definitely have no patience and short sighted. Covid has had such a huge impact and testing will be in huge demand for a long time from now, there is a strong long term opportunity here. The diagnostics industry was grossly undervalued before this pandemic and is why there is so much potential on offer here, because the starting valuation was so low.

Nice to see so many new faces on the message boards de-ramping, can only mean one thing: people want to get in and at the best price they can.

Definitely overdone, great opportunity for new comers to get in or existing holders to top up. Great value so close to potential news. Very exciting times.

Looks like we are breaking through the 63p resistance area. Really nice to see the share price moving up in anticipation of news. Allows us to build a higher support level to propel us higher when we are updated about the design freeze. All getting very exciting now, huge potential in the UK market, but also oversees, lots to look forward to this year.

Getting interesting now and it is not even 12 o'clock yet!

Breaking the 60p barrier will result in us broking out of the wedge and things could get really interesting here. We are a third of the way through June and getting closer and closer to the DF, with lots of noise coming from the other members of the consortium, as well as the government webinar. People that sold out at the start of the month to chase other stocks, will start to buy back in to position themselves for the news. It is going to be a very exciting year for Omega Diagnostics.

With some of the drops across the covid sector in the last week, many have attributed the drops to covid not being as important. For anyone watching the webinar, it is obvious that covid is still priority #1 and that testing capability and infrastructure will be needed for a long time. ODX are well placed and the recent RNS has demonstrated that the company is fully committed to covid for the long haul. Long term hold here.
