@neo2725 I do think the media blackout is very telling and with the Github codebase of the antibody part of the track and trace app, it is clear the abc-19 antibody test will play a big part in the future.
With 17% of Londoners having antibodies to Covid-19, we have a sizable percentage of the population with antibodies and identifying these individuals would have big advantages for the NHS. For example, these individuals wouldn't have to be tested with antigen tests assuming majority are immune, therefore making more tests available to those in need that are still susceptible to Covid-19.
So with 9 million people in London and assuming there are 35000 tests/day available in London, there is currently 1 test/day for every 257 people. However if you were to identify all 17% of people with antibodies and not test them with an antigen test, you would instead have 1 test a day for every 213 people.
