Correct me if I am wrong but Kdnc hold 10% of MMS, which has now increased to a value of around £5m. KNDC mk cap is now around £30m (was £10m before the spike). Unless I've missed something the increase in the KNDC share price is way too much. So if it does rise further it will won't be a rational rise. I am tempted to stick my toe in with a small amount however as with aim the illogical tends to rule

Sentiment will drive this sp higher because chance of at least one of clnr licenses getting across the finishing line is looking good now with Shell showing significant interest. The p2248 license is the only thing that has dragged this back a little. Fund raise is not an immediate concern for me so I am happy to stay in here for longer term. I look forward now to next news on the other licenses. Plenty to keep investors interested here and certainly no need to panic sell at these prices.

Essentially there are a number of options aim but in any case, the number of licenses Cluff has and ones they can win back which is highly likely, the odds of one of this being a drill success is very good relatively speaking. Shell have certainly some good level of confidence to go this far with cluff. Of course still some unknowns/obstacles to overcome but I think odds are beginning to look much better here and certainly for a share of this type, the risk reward at current sp looks very good. Yes risks are still here but I would argue certainly no more than when you posted positively about chances of success here back in June

I would say that pretty much all AIM companies like CLNR would farmout a few months before any drilling starts and get someone else to pay for most of the drilling costs. The way it usually works for example is that someone will buyin for 25%, pay past costs and also pay for 35%+ of the well.

OK at a guess I would say to fund say 30% would be around £3-4m, but they might end up farming down to 15% and getting a free carry aim

Aim, what I find interesting with your view on this share is that this is arguably less risky than before we knew about the Shell deal when you were very positive about it. If you argue the deal with Shell is not a great one, well no deal at all was surely even worse. At worse this current situation is no less risky than back in June, certainly at the current market cap and yet you are determined to only highlight potential obstacles to progression here. Very odd

I don't see a placing happening imminently as no immediate requirement for one. If one does happen later down the line, the SP will be much higher in my view.

Cluff will still have cash from the previous placing aim. Day to day running costs won't be that high.
They don't really spend huge amount on the licenses. So the companies cash burn isn't that much. It's mostly just technical work get the licenses ready for a farmout. Drilling and seismic surveys cost the most and Shell are funding the first survey and who's to say they won't get a similar deal done with Shell on the other licenses. If results are positive, then who knows what might happen?! I fancy a takeover personally

Buys will flood in now. To good a price for investors to ignore. We will pick up p2248 license next round of bidding. Meantime. Other licenses will progress and peeps will soon get excited again about next news!

Loss of this license already priced in. The dip on rns confirmation may happen but it will likely be temporary as it will be heavily priced in.
