That has to be a record. Only 10 posts to its name and it warrants putting in the green box. BTW DON'T reply you are in the box.
I have mentioned before that my filter list for UKOG is an all time record of 26 aliases. While this leads to a much appreciated quiet life free of their nonsense it does raise a question or two.
I am seeing large blocks of green boxes at the moment and it makes me wonder if this is just a couple of Eco Fruit Loops repeatedly posting the same comment or is it the whole range of my 'special friends'?
If anyone could give me a steer on this it would be much appreciated. It would would save me the chore of de-filtering all 26 and then putting them back in their boxes.
Of course the other question is are there 26 of them or is it the same couple of people with multiple identities?
UKOG normally falls on good news. Why hasn't there been more of a drop today.
Good news today about Loxley and the Eco Fruit Loops should look at the positives here. All that lovely money they are handing over helps keep the lawyers employed and off the dole queue.
Imagine I'm an JSO protester,
Its easy if you try.
Don't know the truth about it,
Its only lies in the sky!
Imagine all the Fruit Loops,
Liv...ing a great big lie.
You oh oh oh oh !
You may say their all dreamers
But your not the only one ;)
Just when I thought that my green box list couldn't get any longer up pops Nibbers to take me to 26.
I don't have a problem with people being critical about UKOG. However it is not enough to say that this company is rubbish or that the CEO is useless. If a critic of the company is to have any credibility at all, and this is where the eco fruit loops always come unstuck, they should first identify what is actually going wrong and why. Then they should say what can be done to correct the problem.
This is called constructive criticism and should be welcome in any organisation. What Nibbers and the fruit loops do is whinging. Just Stop Oil are good example of this with their narrow minded whining about a single subject without providing a viable alternative or way forward.
BTW Nibbers don't forget that now you are in the box I won't be able to see your reply so don't clutter up the comments with your nonsense. I am quite certain that in the unlikely event of you saying something sensible someone will let me know.
Sometimes I regret having the biggest filter list in the history of LSE because it means that I can't see the wailing and moaning of the eco fruit loops at this decision.
However after a moment I realise how wise I am to settle for a quite life and keep the filters in place.
One little bit of good news and the green boxes are appearing like flies on dog poop. What's going to happen when Turkey comes good and the court cases reach their inevitable correct conclusion?
RNS 3 Sep 2021
"As previously announced, in consideration of the divestment of its Greenlandic assets to GreenRoc, Alba is to receive GreenRoc shares valued at £6m on Admission, which shareholding is expected to represent 54.0% of the enlarged share capital of GreenRoc on Admission."
JUSTBE: I find it strange that someone such as yourself, a trained oil equities analyst, does not know that Sanderson is not the operator for Pinarova-1, as I pointed out the other day and to which you did not reply.
An inconvenient truth perhaps? Still that probably doesn't matter because in the world of the school playground being able to say, 'I told you so', trumps everything.
JustBe given that Aladdin Middle East ("AME") is the operator of the Company's 50% interest in the Resan Licence,
how exactly is Sanderson delaying things in Turkey?
Further given that Sanderson is not the sole licenced perforating gun provider in our operational area of SE Turkey how can he delay the supply of the perforating gun as your post would imply?
Granted UKOG could be more forthcoming with an update on the situation and the progress to date. However to imply that Sanderson is deliberately delaying things is childish and petty in the extreme.
I do hope that the court when it considers the 'indirect effects' of the oil and gas industry also realises that there are other 'indirect effects' from the farming industry for example.
It is well know that methane is a much more powerful agent for climate change and global warming than Co2. Given that the vast majority of the produce from British farms is destined for either the human digestive system or that of animals and both of these systems are notorious for the production of methane. Then any decision from the court restricting production of anything with 'indirect effects' could lead to the end of the farming industry and or the catering/ hospitality sector.
The UK's electrical distribution grid would likely face challenges if all motor vehicles were to become electric vehicles (EVs), but it is feasible to manage this transition with careful planning and infrastructure upgrades.
The increased demand for electricity due to widespread EV adoption would put additional strain on the grid. However, the grid can be upgraded and expanded to accommodate the increased load. This would involve reinforcing transmission and distribution infrastructure, upgrading transformers, and deploying advanced grid management technologies.
It is interesting to note that it has been estimated that if all vehicles in the USA become EVs by 2035 the distribution infrastructure will need to double in size. At the present time this problem is not being addressed. It is not unreasonable to assume that the UK would be in a similar situation.
So while to move to EVs in the UK is possible it will require forward thinking by the Government and how often do our Governments excel at this? It will also provide plenty of opportunities for Nimbys to challenge the construction of extra power lines, transformers and battery storage facilities to name but a few.
I appreciate that this is not what the eco fruit loops want to hear so in order to deter them from replying to this and clogging up the board I am posting my green list below.

Ocelot makes the very good point about the danger to the economy going forward should the decision not go in favour of Surry County Council(SCC).
However, if this is the case does this not mean that any other decisions made by SCC in regard to oil extraction was unlawful. Further, that any other decision about this by every County Council in the whole of the UK could be challenged retrospectively.
I always thought that we had a national government to deal with national concerns and local Councils to deal with local concerns.
For What it is worth my Green Listers are at the end of this post. In my opinion they are mainly Eco Fruit Loops with one or two internet trolls thrown in for good measure. If you think I have missed anyone I am open to suggestion and more than willing to update my list.
While we are in the current news desert a list like this certainly makes for an easier LSE experience. Of course good news would cause me to delete the list for a couple of days just to watch them squirm. In the meantime I will settle for the quiet life because I am a grown up.

There are numerous estimates on the internet giving the population of this planet in 1950. They are all in the region of 2.5 billion.
The estimates for 2017 seem to indicate that the population was about 7.5 billion by then.
Global Atmospheric Concentrations of Carbon Dioxide levels over the same period have risen from just over 300 parts per million (ppm) to just over 400 ppm.
Granted that with the rise in the mass use of motor vehicles and those electrical gadgets and machines that are now considered essential to modern life. The amount of CO2 that each person produces has risen considerably. However this rise in individual production of CO2 is dwarfed by the exponential rise in the population.
Even if we achieve net zero for the current population of the Earth by 2050, the continuing increase in the population will far outweigh the benefits of net zero.
Yes we should all be looking at ways of reducing the production of CO2 but the priority must be to bring about a decrease in the population.
China's one child policy failed to achieve the desired reduction and this has now been quietly shelved. Paradoxically China's population has started to fall. A good place to start would be to explore this.
There is no quick fix here. What is needed is an effort on a global scale for many decades. Saying Just Stop Oil is not a solution. All it is doing is alienating people and delaying the day when a truly global solution will be found.
Here's a radical thought. Instead of going around and alienating people why not try getting them on side.
If the Ecoterrorists views have any validity all they would have to do is explain it to the people. If their ideas are logical, backed by common sense and fact based evidence they would soon have enough people to form their own political party. Then they could win enough seats to form a government. With banning fossil fuels in their manifesto not even the House of Lords could stop them passing laws banning their use.
Of course they would need a name for this new political party. How about the Green Party. That has a good ecological ring to it. How could people refuse?
What? Are you sure? Brighton you say? How many seats have the Green Party got? Well if things are as dire as they say you would have thought that the Greens would have been in power by now. I wonder why they aren't in power?
Well, what a surprise. The LimpDim leader, thinking that he can get himself s few Swampey votes, jumps on the eco-bandwagon and comes out with a misinformed and illogical statement.
However, this is probably not his fault because he is being fed his information by Eco-Dimwits who have been ill-informed and illogical from the very start.
Just a thought but if the good news from Pinarova is delayed until the second or third week of June that would mean that we would have news of an oil discovery and two court case wins all within a couple of weeks of one another.
Now wouldn't that cause a meltdown amongst the Eco-dimwits. The NHS mental services are under a lot of pressure at the moment and the effect of this on Swampy might just push those services into crisis mode. So I think the news has to be handled very carefully.
The possibility of this triple whammy might also explain why I see a mega amount of green flags whenever I visit this board. I think they are all running a little bit scared of what is to come.
A touch of desperation there dilara. I appreciate that life as a misguided and misinformed eco-warrior must be hard when the news doesn't go your way however, by playing the man rather than the ball you just emphasize the weakness of your case.
