Curzon Energy PLC said Wednesday that the exclusivity period for its reverse takeover by Poseidon Enhanced Technologies has been extended by an extra month to Nov. 1 while the companies continue work towards a definitive agreement.
Might it have something to do with this Story in the Times of India, reported today on the destruction of the mangroves at Karanja, high-level probe initiated (expect legal action). According to the Karanja Terminal website, the site is being is managed by MPL.
Suspension due to Environmental destruction on site?
If you invest a company in a highly corrupt country (according to the Corruption Perceptions Index), you deserve to be swindled. Best to stick with Funds and ETF's when investing in Developing countries.
It may have something to do with the last trade also recorded here. Showing 25,000 bought at 650.00 (£162.50k total). Surely a buyer hasn't made such a grave error with decimal points!
Really, someone actually sharing a link from the Daily Express! Not sure it may be considered a credible source for financial journalism, but HeyHo, each fool to his own rag.
As to be reported in the morning’s Torygraph.
Twelve countries including Italy and Germany on course to join quarantine-free green list.
The new list could total 39, with Canada, Austria, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Taiwan also meeting green criteria.
Not sure how many will want us to visit, however they will have the option to fly to the UK too.
Yes, the AGILE clinical trial is capable of testing multiple potential treatments in parallel and speeding up testing by pooling control data across patient groups. However, trials will follow the normal due diligence stages and candidate companies for the trials will still go through the normal process. This will all take some time (6 to 12 months). Not sure why some on here are so impatient and chomping on the bits expecting 'news to drop'. Get a grip and some perspective.
On the comment 'The government must know about our SDC-1801', I very much doubt the 'government' takes a day to day interest in this, there are other day to day pressing matters, strategic aspects, data and policy on the Covid response the government has the bandwidth to follow. However the MRHA and civil servants and scientists at DHSC more closely follow potential candidates and the day to day matters. Ask your MP to make representation on your behalf and write to Sajid Javid (the Health Secretary) who will ask one of these civil servants involved to draft you a response (or will pass it on to MRHA to respond. That's the only way you'll get your message to those providing 'the government' with advice and recommendations.
Turns out Fontenoy isn't a Brit in France or a Frenchman afterall.
Fontenoy's comment from the Bank of Ireland (BIRG) discussion board:
[...] 'The vast majority of people in Ireland have been vaccinated using Pfizer and Moderna, myself included.[...]
Again agree with the sentiments, but (again) have to correct you. While Europe is certainly a major world region, it is not a continent. Europe is a region. Physiographically, Europe and South Asia are peninsulas of the Eurasian landmass.
Besides British Airways flies beyond the EU and apparently Iberia also flies to South America and beyond. If we're keeping it relevant to this discussion board.
Fontenoy,
Your comment 'We need to protect ourselves from further contamination by many of the drunk marauding Brits who would otherwise pollute the landscape further' is somewhat harsh and un-gentlemanly.
The 'we' is slightly disturbing too, unless you really have sold-out and gone native.
Dear Fortenoy,
Whilst I may align with a large part of your opinions and sentiments, I must correct you. The population of the EU with the UK as a member state was 500 million. It's now around 447m (according to the EU Barometer)following the UK's departure. Likewise the EU budget is also much reduced, and now dependent on the economies of the rich northern member States.
However I do agree that the UK must continue to coordinate and work with other EU members States (bilaterally and through the European Commission).
BERLIN, July 1 (Reuters) - Germany expects the Delta variant of COVID-19 to account for up to 80% of infections this month and could ease travel restrictions from countries like Portugal and Britain where it already dominates, its health minister said on Thursday.
Jens Spahn told a news conference that Germany could reduce the current 14-day quarantine requirement that it imposes on travellers from countries with high levels of the Delta variant once it is sure that vaccinated people are protected.
Spahn said the move could happen soon, without specifying.
Let’s see what comes out of Merkel’s discussion with Boris on the morrow. If Germany changes tact, others may follow. Seems the consensus is two jabs offers adequate assurances to start opening up, as long as critical mass is achieved ie adequate percentage of the population jabbed.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has again recommended that all EU countries should make British travellers quarantine on arrival.
Fair enough. We'll spend our holiday funds in the Caribbean and the USA. Good for BA.

Surprised to see Gove surface, he's been missing in action for a while (and probably smells blood and ready to take full advantage).
The focus of this extended lockdown seems to be hospitality, theatre and weddings at the moment. International travel seems to have been overlooked in the various discussions on TV and radio. Hopefully people are now booking flights from 19 July onwards and during the school summer break (although this begins much earlier for Scotland).
Chaps mentioned the Nepal mutation...but Public Health England says it is not examining such a variant!
There may however be a Vietnam variant/mutation, although the WHO hasn’t confirmed it yet (still looking into the data).
Just some anecdotal notes and from observation from central London. The last week has been heaving with people in the center of London, with a fair share of local UK tourists (half term) but also foreign visitors. On a cautionary note though, people seem to have abandoned face masks on public transport and maintaining safe distance. The travel ban and covid precautions are already fraying on the edges. People are clamouring to travel overseas. Although a good sign that half of the UK adult population have now received a second vaccine.
The EU has delayed putting the UK on a “white list” of countries from where non-essential travel into the bloc is approved because of concerns about the rise in cases linked to the Delta variant first identified in India.
The decision in principle was made during a meeting of ambassadors in Brussels on Wednesday. The UK’s status would be examined again on 14 June.
