Last year update was Wednesday 20th November, so this year is it Wednesday 18th November. I think shares will tread water until then.

Volume lowest I ever seen, 235,000 by 2pm, normally that amount before 9am.
Proves everyone waiting, except for a few bears selling, knowing bulls sleeping.
My guest for update is 18th November.

This update hopefully decent, if not why are shareholders still keeping Murdoch shareholders own the company, directors manage the business.

Nothing will happen until trading update, ok bears still shorting, but bulls seem to hanging back and waiting to see what they say.

Bears saying SAP disappointed today, but they were on a p.e of over 40, you can’t compare the two companies, but bears will.

The thing with Micro Focus when they have a run they certainly fly. They were 1116p one year ago, been has high of around 2550p. Fell like a stone, writ off even the kitchen sink last set of figures, pulled
the 58.3c dividend last minute. So quite rightly investors punished Micro. In a couple of weeks will know if back on glory trail and a higher shareprice.
Should be a lot higher next week, looking at US after hours price, on Friday night.

Looking at last year update was 20th November.

Don’t forget Greg Locke bought over million pounds worth at 783p back in Feb.
Bears are about 14million short, good luck to them closing their positions if update even slightly positive. I think some may start closing before update, could push price to around 285p before update, of course only my opinion.

Lowest volume I have seen 400,000 in Micro so far today many small sellers, bulls must be on the sidelines ready to charge in, on any bit of positive news.

Good post. If hint of reinstatement of dividend they pulled last minute, even a token dividend, with trading update, then 400p by Xmas.

If the trading update half decent, then in my view I see nearer 400p then 250p.

They are well bid in the market, looks like they want to go higher.

Kainos my other tech play, up 28% this morning on their update, Micro Focus fingers crossed the same.
