I notice shorting hedge funds are short around 12.8m shares. Just need one more positive rns and your see the mother of all bear squeezes.

I thought the rns was very positive, seems plenty of cash, reducing debt. I'm surprised not trading around 325p at least on that news.

On the other bulletin board, someone said IC have a SELL on Micro, has anyone seen or got the article.

Yes that’s what I mean, 345% gain to fair value will do me.

Analyst Simply Wall Street have Micro Focus fair value at 945p, 69% upside.

Don't forget boys Greg Locke spent 1.5 million pounds on shares at 783p 5 months ago. Also Loosemoore has he left bought 500,000 pounds worth around that level. At 275p I reckon easily a doubler on a couple positive rns.

Well bid in the market, to me means going higher.

Shorting hedgies of course had a field day recently, when these bounce it’s fast and normally a good gain, going by past sell offs and bounce backs.

No chance then of you buying.

Does seem strange Micro closed at about 339p sterling price in US last night, but we are down this morning.

Seems the yanks buying Micro Focus adrs, at the moment trading around 4.22c about 334p sterling. Don’t know why UK behind.

Bears tried yesterday to get it lower, selling into any rally, tried again this morning and they failed.
Bulls could come back into control, if bears starting closing then we could be nearer 400p than 312p in my view.

Even Barclays note target 420p, not helped.

So three shorting hedge funds between then short of 3.17% in total, but then one hedge fund comes in buys 4.88% stake, M&G bought 5.02% last week who of course not a hedge fund but for investment. To me seems more commitment from long hedge funds then shorts, going by the size of trades. I see this 350p next few days in my opinion. But hey who knows.

Just out Causeway Capital Management annouce they have 4.88% stake from zero, rns just out. Lets hope those bears who increased bets last week are short and caught.

After hours close was 4.35c that’s about 345p, should be a good opening on Monday.
