Copperplate
The invester who likes his investment to go down rather than up.
Mmmm interesting new strategies coming to light .
Annocment of what?
Errrrr let me think!
an offer maybe?
I 5hink this is a very important development. Look how the SP reacts on few words from WI. Imagine if there is a concrete announcement this will fly and who can really say what we could end up with?
It will be interesting if a price is agreed to see if that flushes out any other onlookers.
Then perhaps we could have a queue. Hopefully all will be revealed soon.
It falls into the much touted line here, that no-one wanted to show their hand to early or until they had no choice.
Looks like it could have been a high stakes game of poker all along. As was often said, patience needed. Just we did not take into consideration just how much patience. Hopefully soon my dear fellow shareholders.
Also adds qudos to the theory that the SR is a smoke screen as some have suggested, if they are openly in talks to sell it.
If this finally ends the " we are going to production' argument?
WI actually saying we are trying to sell it to the,,,
I'm not convinced, you know what they say about taking the horse to water !
Mather has been very quite lately, I would love to hear what he has to say.
To be honest, nothing has changed , we just had an explanation of why we are delayed. We already knew we had a delay, we just know why now.
We already knew
We had bad management, we just had the interim CEO confirm it.
The SP does what it was always going to do.
If you all except that the board have been utterly incompetent for years it makes things a lot easier to understand here.
You just open your eyes.
Certainly Quady
Look at the bit after the 2 comments where it say strategic review
About 3 down it say
The direct or indirect sale of a stake in the cascabel project
Adequately studied say to me they are not spending any more money on it.
Over to you next owner?
Adequately
Suitable counter point.
How about this one.
We could have got 40p a share 5 years ago. We would be happy to take 40p a share now.
Would you like your 40 p now or 5 years ago ?
Yes Bozi it's simple but the best things in life are.
Why would they not replace the CEO? I don't see how that changes the likelihood of a sale.
Looks like I was right about the board despite Bozi defending them.
Scott saying in corporate talk that they are basically taking the p#ss
Quady it clearly mentions that a sale of cascabel or a part of it is in the review
I saw 2 Chinese fellas in a bar talking to another 2 Chinese fellas.
One had a tee shirt with Ecuador
written on it.
You will only get one side of the story from most media outlets these days.
The BBC are a classic example.
It want the judges say that counts. And that should be science led hopefully.
Mmmm that's unlike Red to give misleading information .
The mystery around that one continues...
Bozi
That was 7 years ago. How much would we have got 5 years ago if we seriously looked for a buyer with cornerstone on side.
All the juicy holes at Alpala had already been dug.
Maybe about 40p?
And how many would grab 40p now, 5 years later?
5 years of value or value destruction from bad managemen?
Bozi
What would BHP have to do with it if we had a SR with a view to sell years ago?
