Not really expecting any news here until next month. Maybe news of first PGMs produced at platcro, but hopefully some sort of trading update covering all the projects following the year end since we might have to wait until November for the audited accounts to see some real figures.

But then again, news of the formal competition commission approval for sable could come anytime, and always a possibility of that copper/cobalt project being sorted out.

Who's topping up with 1 share at a time? Must be very confident that big rises will cover the trading fees, lol

Nothing to suggest that we won't get the news this week or next. But if we don't and there's no news to say the deal is off either, then who's to say we won't get an announcement on Monday 1st July to say everything was completed on schedule by the end of June and we have a farmout?

We're not going to get instant reporting of events, there will be a time delay between it happening and us being told, and we've no idea when in June the key events are scheduled to take place. It could have already happened and the announcement is being written now, it may all be happening on the last day in June.

Oh well, for anyone that's interested in looking at other farmouts for comparisons and amounts paid, suggest you look at the UK drill thats in the news today and the details of the farmout related to it that was announced back in December.

Brom, haven't really followed those two, but their news does appear to be good and bodes well for flow testing, so the rises could be maintained. But as you say this is AIM, and the question will come sooner or later on how they will fund it further.

This is where our patience in staying here will hopefully be rewarded, the farmout could provide the answer to those doubts about us on how further exploration will be funded.

I would make a guess that day traders are either piling into, or out of, UJO and RBD this morning depending on their strategy. Maybe some of the profits being made there will make their way over here in a day or two in anticipation of the farmout.

Interesting, not a direct comparison as we're producing chrome concentrate, but would assume the prices roughly follow the same direction.

From the looks of it there doesn't seem to be a huge reason for concern, the price has been moving up and down. Interesting that for at first quarter at platcro, when earnings were higher than expected, the price had fallen from the previous quarter.

No mention of it not being profitable to drill for oil in alsaka this time, has he realised that there is a lot of oil being being profitably produced on the north slope?

ENI have been quite active with Alaskan acquisitions over the past year, a couple of links below. So the question has to be do have their hands full with these and enough exploration prospects on the north slope already, or do these signal just the start of a much bigger Alaskan adventure for them? My feeling is its the former, but until we know who it is, it seems a good a guess as any.

Spike, 3-4p would equal a market cap of £190m-£250m. Plenty of examples around of companies with a far higher mcap but with possibly lower potential. Equally plenty of examples around of companies valued less than that but generating decent profits.

It sometimes comes down to sentiment and what people are prepared to pay, especially when its potential future gains being valued.

Where does it say anything in that article about a farm out, let alone a farm out for just one well? The charlie 1 permits and plan he refers to is already knowledge in the public domain, if he'd talked about anything else it could have been in breech of any confidentiality agreements not to mention disclosure requirements.

Can't really read too much into it in terms of what the farmout may or may not cover. Maybe we're updating the permits now as a result of farmout negotiations on drill locations or due diligence. Maybe the farmout won't cover Charlie 1 at all, and we're updating the permits to drill ourselves or package up as a separate farmout.

14. Spinefx With the release of the updated Spill Prevention Permit, that contained detailed info pertaining Bravo and Charlie for late 2017/early 2018. As you would understand caused quite some excitement. Why has this now been delayed? - Funding?

DW - Resources would be stretched to thin? - Focus on Icewine2v? - Existing 2D seismic inconclusive, 3D required? - Early stage farm in discussion? - Or other reasons? We concurrently permit all potential activity – it does not mean we are going to execute. It just means we can if it is appropriate. If we did not permit B/C and then we wanted to drill (or someone else wanted to fund drilling) and the permits were not in place then that would not be a very good outcome. On that basis – this is not delayed – it is just not considered part of the BOD plan to maximise shareholder value in the medium-long term. 2D is not inconclusive – 3D provides more detail and decreases risk to a more appropriate level. Basically, we believe that the conventional potential is exceptional and we don’t want to drill in the wrong spot and get a false negative. We aim to get this as right as we can.

Jiddy, maybe something in all the due diligence picked up that the existing permits needed amending. Who knows? I don't, just speculation :)

It sounds like just be a bit of housekeeping work to update permits that we've already got and plans that are already in place and known about, so not really news as such.

But its relevance could be very important, we will need some cash from somewhere to drill another well. Ideally from a farmout partner funding it.

10.48 - I'm not sure that it would be such a bad thing to sell RMP to buy here. RMP have no cash to do anything and no (realistic) prospects. We have one farmout due to be announced any time soon, a second farmout to be started soon, a strategy for Yukon to be announced, and potentially a resource of over 4B barrels.

But your money your choice :)

It is odd sumo, appears we're still off the radar for most. People that have already bought into potential don't seem willing to sell at these levels, and not enough demand to push the price up further, so very little volume. Frustrating, but at the same time I'm content to be holding knowing (or hoping!) that sooner or later the earnings growth will get noticed.

Worrying situation over there at the moment. But if we're at the stage where theres an oil exec somewhere dithering about whether their next move is to invest in alaska or a less stable part of world, surely they'll be scrabbling to find a pen and get the farm-out documents signed, sealed and delivered pretty sharpish.
