RE: What did you want the board to do9 Jan 2019 14:51
Bob, I'll try to answer this as succinctly as possible. The non science BoD have a job to do which includes creating interest in our shares, not just the end price but throughout the journey and since 2013 IMO they have been woefully inept at this task and ultimately have cost us all a fortune through dilution. I accept dilution is required but what I don't accept is that it has to occur at a lower price each time because the share price has not progressed since the last dilution. I have a product to sell which is a share in a company in one of the hottest markets in medicine and to use an oft quoted remark we can't kill a bloody mouse, I have brilliant relationships with some fantastic partners etc etc. Our share price is a selling job and once you discount the product, the place, the price etc as they're all good you have to come back to it's the salesman. Honestly I looked at our web site today, it's crap - news last updated end Oct / start Nov last year, I have a friend who runs a Wealth Management Company with the best part of a billion under management and a big chunk is discretionary, never heard of Scancell, is anybody out knocking on doors of HNW's or UNHW's etc etc. Surely with what we have it's not that difficult to get out there and drum up some interest towards buying our shares rather than relying on the 50 or so of us who inhabit this and the ADVFN board. Honestly I could get into a complete rant but trust you get where I'm coming from - the BoD need to generate long term sustainable interest in this share and I don't think it should be too difficult a job but our lot seem incapable of doing it.
