Yes. Agree with you Mr Wolf. I have a family member who is a Barclays employee and is very much looking forward to hearing how much his bonus will be! I am looking forward to seeing how much my bonus will be in the form of a dividend but I know who will be the most delighted!
Yes and what's worse we were robbed of a dividend in April 2020. There are many ex employees who are also well in deficit due to the decline in the share price. I can guarantee that there are many frustrated Barclays shareholders.
Absoluty agree but what I have learned about this share is that the Eagle will only fly when it's ready. frustrating I know but hang in there. Been holding these shares for years and there have been so many predictions for a meteorotic rise with none coming to fruition. I am assuming it's just waiting for me to sell and the Eagle will soar! Lol
Check out the Carnival Shareholder benefits site for full details. You have to submit evidence of holding shares through your travel agent or directly with P and O or any of the other eligible cruise lines at least 3 or 4 weeks before you go. If you use a broker they will provide you with the evidence you need.
Mr W We bought in at 1.92 (1.94 with costs). Was going to take small profit but missed the boat and ducked out just before the turn at 205. Will have to wait a bit longer now! Mrs W will have to wait a bit longer for the Regent Street trip. GL
Ab121 It seems as though someone only needs to cough these days and the markets plummet. It never fails to surprise me; but then again I have always liked a challenge. The punters with their pattern theories seem to have it sewn up. We have been through some volatile periods with Brexit and then Covid so I think the stock market has been less predictable than 'normal' whatever normal is. I believe Boris and Russia will possibly be the next excuses for a fall. Lol
Ab121. It sells services: mortgages, business loans, insurance, share broking and investment banking to name a few. These generate profits. Interest rate rises will improve their return but just look back at the profits they are currently making.

Thanks for your cheery post! Yes short term we may need to have some restrictions and the stock market will take a temporary tumble. As we have seen someone only needs to sneeze and the stocks tumble. Good time to buy so all positive if you want to make some money as we see the stocks rise again. Our PCR tests were £29 each for the 2 day rest when these were required and I have heard others say they can get them for £20 each. Tis the season to be jolly!
