TheeDuke. The rig was useless in Azerbaijan though. AC bought it. It required a load of upgrades and when it finally arrived from Italy it didn’t produce any results. Oh and a top drive was “forgotten” and ordered at short notice delaying already late drilling a couple months further. I think Zen were pretty inept operating it. That said it’s a big rig. It’s cost a fortune. A fortune moving it too. Hoping with a competent crew it gets some results. LTH will know / share frustrations here…

I remember well AC saying he wanted to get the days of raises behind us.

I also remember well many posters (rampers) saying about how great financial outlook is with all this oil £ coming in….

Annoyed with my shareholding keep being diluted.

Ps disappointing to see no timelines on “when” for each of the items the £ will be spent on

Question from a LTH holder
Today is good news (shame about the SP though) but hopeful the change continues and eventually the SP and sentiment recovers
Zen were raising on average once a month a while back I'm sure myself and many many others would like the days of raising to be well behind us.
Do we think on 650+ bopd we're self sufficient now?
Thoughts?

Opened at 1.3 now 1.2 (+2.5%) lets hope the herd pile in.

I think if you look at Zen chart over 4yr they haven’t done that well - not least in SP performance which says it all. So no I don’t think they’ve done better than 90% of all oilers.
Anyway I am hopeful short to mid term from here

MGS. I’m hopeful from here. But I still think management (basically just AC and his son) have a lot to do and they can do the deals but use professionals on the ground. This is what they got wrong with Mike Palmer / Sadoway - bring too controlling in my view. They’re not oilers so need external expertise. Still let’s hope more deals to come and the SP goes further up.

A little reflect...

I don't think I've seen anything from Allenby positively covering Zen today despite the RNS in Aug saying Zen had initiated coverage. Thought this felt odd considering today's good news.

But then perhaps on reflection they're being lined up for flow rates.

Just a ruse / thought. Any opinions?
