The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The symmetrical SP drop on 12th and 26th Oct(today) of 3 biotech stocks at the same time amazes me. Nevertheless it gave a top up opportunity.
Can anyone in the know , explain exactly how this is orchestrated ???
Job- opportunities in 65 countries which i could count
Thxs for the link ShaunP
I am sure there is much more to come in permutations from orders( not counting the new developing technologies by Ncyt )

Wilson63- Good spot on Taylor quant twitter note( which all LTHs of NCYT must take note imo)
Obviously the market to-date had not registered this near future potential of NCYT.
Mind boggling indeed- acquisition of IT-IS device tech company is no simple step. It has two valuable inventors on board with TWO Patents , which many here are unaware off ( apparently likes of Roche had an eye on these patents) . The entry into new patented medical devices has implications of many permutations from here for sure. I have not even added future growth with respect to Microgen Path flow test - which i am sure is being worked out.
I see why you say NCYT is better left on its own rather being in hands of likes of GSK .
Any one selling below 25£ levels dont even have a clue where we are heading . This is not a ramp i hope.
Shaun P , Van V and Bramley with others no doubt have a full knowhow of the potential here and have been likewise educating this Bb. Thxs to you all
Cheers

agree Bhargav - much to look fwd to especially after recent opening of Burutica goldmine next to Anza by columbian president.
I have resent the link to you on hot mail , sent 1 week ago
If i remember correctly it is 6th Nov when the next funding instalment should be in from Newmount?
Opening of Burutica Gold mine attended by Colombian president - with a supporting speech bringing employment to the region.
- This will be bringing more attention towards neighbouring OMI by PIs and Instos - Not much time left for a take off from this consolidation phase IMO.
Hope there will be few more opportunities to top up early next week
cheers

Title : Newmont backing boosts OMI shares but questions remain over trust fund.
The article is fully positive but questions small aspect: OMi has 10million shares in a trust of stgeorgian camp(uruguay) to balance the costly expenses of Uraguan mine clean up on closure.
Any thoughts from the learned here???

You obviously dont seem to be happy with way THR is progressing. What concerns or bothers you here? Apart from the Bod image from the past ?
Mr MP
Thanks for the factual post with an overview.
I know THR has all the fundamentals but just sought some clarity on Bod and the potential risks.
Multiple commodities, multiple sites, low-marketcap, bod skin in the game, with more news to come from 2 safe jurisdictions .
Add on interest by other explorers namely Artemis with MTR investment after due diligence- all due diligence seems done for Share holders IMO
All these make it seem it is way undervalued

MP -
I know the placings here were done here in THR over a month ago. Are you expecting any more in the near term. The only other thing which has been raised against THR apart from excellent potentials is mr M billings reputation - any clarity on that from you as an LTH with good factual posts here. People still remember you on OMI board .
Cheers
MK
Trek - i know THR is in a safe territory with low market cap with lot of potential . Similarly ECR .
What about UFO has similarly good potential , in good territory, good bod, and lowish market cap although it has reached nearing 50 million.
cheers

Hi OMI Team
One thing has been bothering me since I entered this share market just 6 to 7 months ago . Like you i was extremely busy at work and had let financial advisors deal with my PF for last 15 years . Guess what - average return was good initially by 8 to 10 percent but afterwards went downhill over last 6 to 7 years , year by year. i also noticed that they all were interested in particular funds which they invested our money in , and let it go ( passive investing) . Changed advisors 3 times in this journey none of them actively managing the PF apart from so called quarterly balancing. I also had split portfolio between 2 advisors and still no luck.
6 months ago - something changed - Without any experience in stock market, I asked them to transfer one tenth of my pf for myself to handle ( you guessed it right - had jerky response from them and my wife Lol - see you are taking high risk was the moaning line ??)
La behol- now my small portfolio is up 80 percent and some of the advisors are asking me as to which shares to research?? can you believe it??
Yes- i have lost money one third what i invested initially in this journey but with valuable research from excellent reliable posts here and a bit of luck things changed towards better side.
Sorry the reason for rant is
- I cant stress enough , the importance of getting into shares like GGP and OMI early enough
- would be nice to know as to how many of you are handling majority of your own portfolio ie ISA, Sipps, finds etc
- Is it worth taking most or atleast two thirds of PF under own control given my experience or i am being optimistic ??
cheers
MK
Bhargav - you have been asking the right question .
Where else would you confidently put your money in to earn multiples in the current market??
The answer would be
- has good proven source
- reliable Bod
- no risk of placings and dilution
- solid funding base backed by billion dollar Cos
- Low market cap
- Favourable geo-political setting
- A chance to get in early in the progressive journey
I am unable to find one negative aspect of OMI which ticks all the positive boxes.
Only negatives, as for any other miners would be a natural disaster - ie earth quake Or fall through of the joint ventures here. The fall offs of JVs is very unlikely , in that we have 2 giants here , one backing the other.
Enough of positives- can anyone please post the possible negatives here for a change . I am struggling to find one. LOL
Hi Stu
Good to see you here .
I agree that this has GGP virtues
Any one has L2 figures please
By Shaun P : The test kits supplied by Primerdesign is the ammunition for the "fighting instruments" to fight this war
By Bramley: Sell now to become rich and hold to become Wealthy
Worth having them stuck on the wall
Cheers
