If you are paying into a private pension Ie SIPP - you can invest in shares thro SIPPS ( self invested personal pension) but cant draw out till retirement age without penalty although you can sell them and buy other shares within SIPP envelope - you may want to ask about this to your accountant tomorrow and feedback here.
As Banana suggested even better would be to maximise ISA allowance every year to build up - which incurs no Tax currently.
cheers

Alas smith- Thxs for your reply regarding Cs and trust arrangements - I know about the trust fee you are talking about with tax bill in 2025. Is it not that a trust has to pay tax every 10 years , about ? 6percent of the growth in the trust?
I get it that the investment side of things have not been that great this year - Although i have found overall return from IFAs is about 6 to 9 percent on average , if you are lucky . I have hence decided to take 50 percent of my PF under my control
( Thxs to last last 8 months giving time for me to research stocks like AFC ) and am at the moment proud to say have achieved about 65 percent return overall and I hope it lasts and i am curbing my temptation to become over-confident LOL.
Bombay sapphire - Sorry this is not a cross ramp , but bring to justify your question. JLP isn't directly hydrogen but via copper/ platinum does contribute to it. It contributes to green environment using mined residual tailings( adjacent to big miners) to process metals with their own tech ( they do not mine but use mined material by miners ) - this has been supported by local governaments and have shown remarkable profits and growing strength to strength. I had not ventured into it till last month worrying about geo location in africa , but that was a mistake as they are now looking to expand across to other countries . Low cost (without mining expense ) but high yield.
AFC - As you all have said has indeed impressed me after my research and in fact have got in 6 of my friends in last 2 weeks - now looking for space in Isa for children .
Bumble and Bananaman - thxs for your AFC descriptions and note on trade gate.
Cheers

Alas Smith and Tony - good discussion.
You said 98 percent is managed - ? by whom if they are IFAs
- also i note some reliable posters here talking about EQT and PHE ( see todays RNS).
other one for consideration JLP
Cheers
Mk
Bumble - Thank you
You said-
But the weird thing is they frequently get carried away on an evening and the share price spikes.
Wonder why there is spike and retraction on tread gate- May be Dersack and other LTHs can though light on this
Here is to a good day again as for past 2 days .
Good posts BristolDan , southerHay and Bananaman

Retire early
You said - You work to live and if you can live without working that must be perfect.
- true indeed and more so if the work is stressful . If work is for pleasure that is a different matter.
Keep us updated about your stock club education for youngsters - which indeed is a good idea.
I wish i had that education - realised myself too late after being churned and taken for a ride by so so called IFAs ( who can't really make you dosh / investments work as much as you could yourself after research and regular input )
cheers

Happy to be part odf AFC family from 36p onwards after my research and input from LTHs here - Thank you. Added more today.
RetireEarly- You touched a very sensitive but important aspect there with 2 instances - To add on there is statistical proof , something like every year of extra work from 55yrs ono will reduce life span by 2.5 to 3 years . Pension officers love people working longer for the same reason .
You perhaps have studied this aspect in depth along with stock investment advise for youngster someone ( or you )suggesting it

Robinhood
Having researched i recently ventured into Nel and AFC energy.
Nice to see Nels progress and useful articles here.
- Today another development was joint venture agreement by AFC energy with ABB swiss co to launch electric vehicle charging product to be available to distribute over 80 countries - just for info here.
cheers
Mk
Mr P- Nice to see you here too.
You must have done quite a bit of research here.
I know , that current prices give a bargain entry for the new ones , although LTHs have been disappointed with placing bringing the SP down. Hope all will be forgotten in due course as in GGP which retraced as well at 2.5 p levels . Hope this is not ramping.
Cheers

HD
Thxs for clarifying about TR1s .
But it says date of completion of threshold 9.12.20 - hence thought they were recent purchases in last few days .
Cheers
MK
It is all Happening Dave-
Thxs for your factual post with progressive facts which show huge potential .
Given just the vast number of people who would use these products in an effort to give up smoking is phenomenal
Cheers
Mk
Mr P nice to see you here again. Your honest well researched posts were one of the reasons to be in THR
- Having learnt from the past , patience is the key here i think although it is frustrating even for many LTHs
Remembered the same happened in GGP at 8/9 p levels where the price wouldn't move for almost 2 months , sold part of it only to see it moving quickly to 12p and then 15p in vey next few days. Delay in getting results is one of the reasons here IMO
Very Important note of warning : - et Daveri
" Initial Inferred MRE will be a fraction of the ultimate amount "
Glad that this has been pointed to stand out so that rest of the less informed GGP team take notice of this and do not remain under illusion of this preliminary report due to come, given there is much more to be explored in 3 directions of Hav and the depth . Hope MM games dont take a foothold - when there is much more to come in next 2 weeks and month after month over next few years
Cheers

Hi Bamps
Swag Copper and Zambian copper - there should be i presume lot of jurisdictional discrepancy in mining and the extent of having profits given similar grades and amount if you know what i mean.
You obviously may have invested in Zambian copper too.
Agree on all that Positive note guys especially good cash in the bank to sail us through the waiting period and no more placings.
Bring on ASAP
- director purchases
- Drill results in 1st week Jan ??
- More gold price escalation
cheers

Toony - well said and i agree with the huge potential .
Trust and confidence in BOD and George is equally important . However , it is to be seen today how the shaken confidence of PIs here is regained today ?Another thing to ask would be as to WHY PIs where not offered the Placing ?? . This factor has made it even worse
Cheers
MK
Yes Eldo
The long awaited 3rd wave hopefully happens in next few weeks so that all LTHs regain confidence in BOD after an unexpected Placing ,. Nevertheless fundamentals remain and hopefully we have a firm explanation by OMI today for placing , We should all ensure to stress on poor communication and lack of clarity for reasons of placing by BOD , which is astonishing , given the loyal following of the shareholders
Cheers

944T -
2 good posts.
Same here down with paperloss . Given the potential does it matter in the long run ? .
Those who ride this will only have to look at GGp for answers who at about 2.5p levels were down 100 percent and those who stayed have the rewards today.
Trusting BOD is important and we hope to listen more from Bill soon on this
Cheers
