That article is talking about Talk Talk rather than Community Fibre. Talk Talk has more customers but is apparently worth a lot less.

How can a broadband supplier with 450K customers be worth £2Bn?

I just completed a survey for ii asking me to rate their service following my recent communication with them, don't think they'll like my responses.

Still no dividends or resolution to the shares issue. Hopeless

So I chased ii re the dividend payment, they advised that I hold depositary interests (ticker 0EV1) that has a pay date of 19th June, wonderful!!

Still no dividend payment either, II are not covering themselves in glory in the handling of this

Nothing from Interactive Investor, which doesn't come as a surprise as they haven't yet worked out how to manage the shares.

A change of ownership won't change the restrictions BT operates under, the regulator will not allow BT to undercut the altnets, which is probaly the main reason for the large loss of broadband lines. Yes, BT need to sort out some other parts of the business, Global etc but a takeover by anyone won't change the regulation rules. Reducing the BT headcount would probably increase profit but have little impact on the number of lost broadband lines.

Be interesting to see what the banks have to say, fewer claims allowed and slightly reduced cost (Firms are expected to pay out around £7.5 billion in redress, down from £8.2 billion at consultation.)

No suprise that CityFibre aren't happy, see it as having a greater impact on them than BT.

Also interesting that Proactive Investors only seems to report downgrades/sell recommendations for BT, never mentiones broker upgrades

Nice to have the divi back, shame it's delisting from the UK stock exchage. Currently hold the share in my ii ISA, they don't allow US listed stocks to be held this way. Assume they'll force me to hold them in my trading account?

Sadly I also have shares held via Computershare. It's a con theat it takes them 11 days to pay the dividends, almost as big a con as paying a with holding tax on a "British" company.

I don't imagine the Citi brooker is feeling to good after his latest view of BT (issued on 18th July)

"Citi analyst Carl Murdock-Smith forecast that not only will Openreach revenue turn negative in Q1 for the first time since 2019, but it will "stay in decline for the rest of the decade".

He made no change to his 130p target price and maintained a 'sell' rating, first applied in February, though since the start of the year BT's shares have climbed roughly a third from 140p to around 200p."

Where do our resident doom mongers get the following from

"With over 650,000 connections lost to other operators in 3 months!!!!"

This mornings release says "Openreach broadband lines fell by 169k, driven by losses to competitors and a weaker broadband market;"

And as per usual, Proactive only publish negative Analyst comments re BT.

Same drivel being posted, just by different names, it's tiresome.
