This administration is a law unto itself.

Problem is we have been waiting for ages and still no news.

That article don't mean anything as nothing concrete has happened in over a year. The Tanzanians are speaking with fork tongues. Do they actually want this project to get off the ground? Their words don't match their actions.

This is going nowhere what with the authorities doing all they can to delay things. It's just a farce that this situation has gone on for so long. The Tanzanians are not being as helpful as they make out.

Lets have another review so we can delay things longer

What a joke this country is they want investment but want all the upside and give investors very little.

That article was the 4th Oct it's now the 18th Nov. What have they been doing for the last 6 weeks.

Does this government actually want to get this drill done or are they saying the right things but doing very little?

No real news still the wait goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

You can not believe a word these government officials. They have created delay after delay for months now and feel no obligation to move any faster. Why has it taken so long to agree a farm out and grant a psa if this gas field is of national importance?

I think some in the tanzanian government are from another planet lol.

Story in the citizen today an ex minister states that tanzania lost investment from Volkswagen to Rwanda because the amount of bureaucracy and red tape.

Look mate this whole process us taking too long. The Tanzanian government are incompetent they want inward investment but can not implement things in a timely fashion. Ok the resources are theirs and there is demand which is growing but why does it take so long to grant a license and drill a well.

They have been reviewing the psa's for months now and they are still not finished.

Mate why should be waiting so long they made this discovery over 2 years ago and they still have not started drilling. It has been excuse after excuse from Aminex and delay upon delay from the Tanzanian authorities.

The government want it both ways they squeeze barrick for money and then don't want to honour an international court of arbitration decision for a company they are guarantor for.
