Albert, before these events BTC/ARB were very closely aligned. I understand for the LTH these RNS’s aren’t much of an issue but they also released an RNS on 16/02 re: no fundamental reason for the spike in SP. These were Short term traders looking to double their money in super quick time and got spooked. I don’t think one factor alone has caused it but many. It was an exciting share to be a part of and the volatility was/is a drug to many STH. I personally feel we are better off without this type of investor and hope the shares available are snapped up by those with a longer term outlook.

RNS 25th Feb: Exercise of Options, Warrants and PDMR Dealings - of course this will affect SP and did.

The cumulative effect caused a sharp drop/ correction - whatever you want to call it. We’re only a matter of weeks from this and sentiment/confidence takes time to recover.

This, imo, is why there was a temporary conscious uncoupling in BTC/ARB relationship. But there are obvious signs that both feel the marriage is worth fighting for and rise/fall alignment is creeping back.

One other thing. If you are looking to get your money back quickly, this is the share for you. The volatility works both ways remember.

Xenor, I can empathise but have found the grass is not always greener elsewhere. All stocks are traded, have ups and downs but I do think, especially when the loss is big - ON PAPER remember - the danger is selling out and going all in on a whim elsewhere in an attempt to recoup losses. It rarely works. Take a deep breath, look at your ARB investment, you haven’t lost anything and my advice, for what it’s worth, is sit tight and in relatively no time at all, you’ll be glad you HEDL ; )

Poorinvestor, I get the ‘down the road’ bit but what about its current cash flow? Where’s it coming from? In any business, cash flow is king.

For BTC. Inflation levels across the pond could provide the ideal catalyst for BTC trend reversal

I think Xenor makes a valid point unless I’m missing something. So, ARB doesn’t sell any Bitcoin or Zcash. We know it has a loan it can draw down on but other than placings and diluting us, how is it paying its operational costs/overheads/staff?

You won’t fully appreciate the highs if you never experience the lows.

Although I doubt it, there is a chance BTC falls to $50K before the bounce cos that’s where exchange order book support begins.

Could see a price drop to as low as $40K if higher support levels fail to hold, says the CEO of digital asset derivatives exchange Delta Exchange.

But those saying it’s all about altcoins atm, I’m sure they won’t be resilient to a BTC dip of this magnitude.

I have to say I think there is some under the radar, large scale, institutional buying happening. Think when these buy orders are fulfilled, the SP will correct in a big way.

Makes absolutely no sense at all. So do you or don’t you think it’ll fall further to 120? Buy back in at 150, sell at 140 and buy back in at 120... lol. All the while, selling at a loss, incurring trading charges and stamp duty. Just HODL ffs, otherwise it’s gambling.

Bucket implying that I am ramping the stock due to ulterior motives while he deramps to buy back in lower is at best disingenuous and hypocritical.

My observation stands. If BTC continues to recover, the fear for many will be that it’s on course for ATH and the positive knock on-effect for ARB. With the current inflation concerns, sentiment will be more favourable.
