Yes not good news on MES..simple as that.

Since I've been a long time bull on hcm, it would be remiss of me not say I have closed all my HCM in the past 10days. As some will know , it was a very big position (Matt, I tend to have the last laugh as I said at the time when you mocked my high buying price!!) . I like telling people I have bought and sold as early as possible and not a month after as is so often the case. Happily the share price is very strong still.

My reasons for selling are certainly not specific to the investment case for HCM . I think they are due a lot of big news this month and the share price could move much higher. But as we know from the recent fruquintinib news , nothing is guaranteed with pharma stocks. So that was a wake up call for me.

The liquidity of the MSCI gave me a chance to close my position so I took it . It was more for good housekeeping to protect some profits in this uncertain market .

I shall be buying back into HCM but not in the same size as previously. I wish holders all the best luck , esp. davey, whose posts have been superb.

3. 2nd Line PFS data for Savo/tagrisso due to be released by end 2018. CH has said this data is very encouraging.

4.Likely inclusion into Nasdaq Biotech index. Should be announced early December imo. Entry 21st December.

davey , do hcm have a china listing ? I was surprised to read that hcm are being added to the MSCI china index on the 30th November ? There will presumably be good buying of it as funds may need to buy if they haven't already so.

The share price rose 20% prior to this news so no surprise at all by this fall. In fact , I'd go as far to say, the share price has held up pretty well today so far!! Fingers crossed it stays here at least when the Us trades it today.

I took the opportunity to sell 10k in the past few days not wanting to risk everything on the trial results. Still hoiding in excess of 30k and will be looking to add as well as soon as the dust settles.

The really big news for Fruq is around Feb on gastric cancer . That is the real biggie.

We obviously have the massive azn news due as well anytime so this is just an annoying setback.

The share price has not really given up much more than the recent spike so the market is taking the news pretty well so far.
You certainly couldn't accuse HCM of being a leaky ship !!

You did well to get 4950...I couldn't even get 1000 shares since this am. I'd imagine we are very close to that big news on fruquinitinib phase 3 for the real big indication. In the past Hogg has been very confident on the results of this data.So fingers crossed, davey!!

There's a lot of news expected between now and xmas inc. falluca, epidemiological study,pfs data on savo /tagrisso le alone all the conferences in the next week or so.

I'm not totally sure of all the warrants and options which may be in existence other than warrants which can be exercised by Feb 2020 at 35p which will bring in approximately 63 million to the company. Hopefullly posters like Zengas and Robberyrob could fill in those details.

Should add , that's $ 85million at group level on completion of the deal .

I think the debt should around 85 million once the deal has been done.

Absolutely correct, robberyrob . Every sell is a buy and vice versa. To suggest anything else is just plain wrong.
What is important is that the more volume done at higher levels such as these , compared to the 25-27 range , the more it feels like any big sellers are being exhausted.

35p will clearly be a huge level since this where the huge placing occurred. I would hope newsflow and house marketmaker /placing dynamics will ensure that we will be well above 35p to ensure that the warrants are exercised and the company receives the 60 million.
The 7E acquisition looks odds on to complete even if the final approval timetable slips into Q1 2019. That should be the real catalyst rather than the Niger drills which were all low risk. I'm sure the market will be much more receptive to the well test in December which should be a good kicker to keep us well beyond 35p . Here's hoping !

Have good trip . Am hoping for the Fruq approval in the next 6 weeks so will be buying a lot of of hcm in the next 3 weeks .Lot of news in Q4 as you say so fingers crossed.
