Noted there was no RNS after hours on Friday for the EOI deadline of 17 Feb.....which only means negotiations are still progressing in the background. Valency - noted your collective EOI points....adding them in the 'Draft' email that I will send on Sunday night OR Monday morning as soon as I get response from PL. Banksman - shall I add the 1 carat for every $168 investment proposal in the email (Crowdfunding)...? nothing to lose. An 'Escrow Account' can be set up for the recovery & remediation purpose. Tozerk - What is the absolute 'Drop dead' date for any decision IF receivership is announced ? Folks - just brainstorming through some ideas here as they coming to mind....while working through your feedback so far. Feel free to jump in any time. Banksman, Love that proposal for all private investors.....for every $168 invested we get 1 carat Diamond as an incentive. This will obviously be on top of the potential upside (e.g. 10x Bag) for DCP share price when Production ramp-up kicks in 2017 (hopefully).......love that idea. Might add that proposal in my email.....risks vs reward and all that.......awesome.

tozerk. Have not emailed yet, pretty busy afternoon, but I get the feeling DCP will end up hammering out a deal with IDC, and hopefully AMCU issues will then fall into place. End of Feb date was quoted to give market an idea and also put pressure on IDC to come to some form of agreement by 28 Feb or may be before. They can always extend the date of admission for the Placing shares. Not ideal but company has that flexibility (i think). Hence don't think the company is going down under. Just that more delays are not good as wages keep accruing etc. and lost production is not good either. That's why sooner remediation work starts at Lace the better chance we have to achieve ramp-up in Production. Best wishes all.

If I was in the area, I would have gone straight to ADIA 'sovereign wealth fund' and asked them to stick a Billion $ in DCP....would get multiple return on their investment. Besides, any rights issue done as part of "Post-commencement Finance" is secured from PI's perspective as we get priority over the Creditors in this special case. May be Valency can confirm this....but that's what I read here few days ago. ATB

Folks, I share the same frustration, hence not letting go of this without fighting. Collectively we can make a big difference after all we all own part of that Lace diamond mine. Yes to certain extent PL is to blame and I am sure he realises that too, but we need to get out of this current situation as a priority. Going forward lesson learnt etc. can be address accordingly. If management can have little extra leverage & comfort of knowing that shareholders are willing to support the company 100%, just may be they can hammer out a deal. Besides at this stage of the game got nothing to lose and more to gain if a last minute deal can be agreed. Yes, I feel quite bitter too. That's why not going out without fighting. If we lose then fine, at least we tried. Like Valency says..."Chin up" folks. PL is quick in replying. Will report back with any coded response i get. Best wishes always.

Don't think there is any advantage for any party if it goes down. Think IDC are either playing tough Or just being plain stupid, as a result giving more ammunition to AMCU to back track on their 'Agreement-In-Principle' agreed previously with Deloitte. Hence sooner any 'Financing' is agreed, these IDC and AMCU issues might go away as DCP and Deloitte might be in a more strong financial position Or be more flexible to agree the terms just for the sake of moving forward and re-start mining operations at Lace ASAP.

Yes saw the XTR RNS...Rights Issue and Notes conversion. Agree. Quick action needed here : I can drop an email to PL suggesting the 'Rights Issue' route under the "Post Commencement Finance" rules hinting at PI support. If company needs to issue 'Prospectus' as a requirement to offer shares to PI, then Panmure Gordon can manage that under a week i think which they could not do last time due to the short time window as explained by Panmure in their email to me. Hence PI's were unable to chip in that £1m Placing previously. An attractive diamond mine worth USD $1.5 Billion is at stake here. If my projections are close to correct then with Production ramp-up this could be worth 20p per share in 12 months. So I will be more than happy to chip in with 1 or 2 Million shares at the 'Rights Issue' price. Collectively we can easily chip in and raise the £3m - £5m funds. Yes company's management could easily have done the 'Rights Issue' even before the flooding happened as a prudent step to build a nice cash buffer. I am appalled that there was no 'Cashflow' analysis to forecast incoming / outgoing amounts due for next 3 months etc. I would have been more than happy to chip in and save the company. There would have been none of this 'Business Rescue' bulls**t...and Lace Mine would have been up and running by now. Months been wasted here.......crazy Management should have Pre-empted Or Built a surplus cash buffer for times like these, knowing the effect unions have had in South Africa in the past. No wonder Investors shy away from investing in mining businesses in SA due to union issues. AMCU are a bunch of totally dumb MF's, who do not give a sh*t about their naive union members. Instead they run a mafia like union in my opinion bullying management of companies across the industry. Govt is equally incapable of mediation or issuing strict guidelines for AMCU c***s to behave professionally and let company's management to restart mining operations ASAP. That way staff & workers can get back to work and start earning their wages. AMCU seem to be a brainless entity who do more damage to their workers / members than any good. Someone needs to show AMCU that "MINTAILS" case study ASAP. "It's not over until the fat lady sings"......deal can be struck next week if GOVT applies little pressure to get it done. Excellent article indeed. "Mintails" should provide an excellent case study of validating reasons why "Business Rescue" was introduced and highlights the true spirit of the BRP. Hopefully DCP can join in that accolade of proving to the investment community that companies do and can recover from a Bad Flu.......as long as not terminally ill. Great news. Keeps the hopes alive. I think IDC are just playing tough and will come to some sort of arrangement soon. Company is probably also trying to finalise AMCU labour deal documents, etc. So taking bit longer than anticipated. Who knows.....might get good news soon on both fronts. GLA MP

I have been thinking on same lines....alternative funding ? Instead of Placing, DiamondCorp should have simply done an outright "Rights Issue" that all shareholders would have been eligible for and happy to participate in with none of this Warrants shenanigans, etc. Clean up operations would have been well underway by now at Lace. Who advises DiamondCorp ? Is what I want to know.........just crazy. Look at LONMIN who did a successful 46 for 1 'Rights Issue' Dec 2015. Yes it was short term pain for a long term gain. Soon after the rights issue was completed, Lonmin share price went from c. 50p to 240p in next 10 months almost 5x Bag. Lonmin highlighted the same 'Going concern' aspect in their prospectus. It was Do or Die. POG also did a similar big rights issue to secure finance & safeguard their valuable Gold mines. Can people not learn from these examples ?
