Hm, since the flow of water changes, there must be a point where the turbine stands still at the time where the water flow is also at a stand still.
But in any case.. these 3MW turbines.. shouldn't those be much more economically viable? Whatever price tag the 1500 has, the 3000 should still lower the price per MWh. My hope here is that we'll be hearing about that at some point as well.
Still, as many people state, BESS is currently the main thing toward for.
Also maybe let's take 9MW into perspective: That's 2x MayGen. Sure, we all hoped for more but I take it.
