You can't short any small oiler - too many people would want to bet on a catastrophic fall in value

the signs have been clear for some time over there - another small oiler with a "transformational", "UK important" discovery hits the buffers of reality

A standard excuse for no flow - sometimes they fix it abut most times they don't

To a large extent the problem is systemic

the UK onshore only contains one large oil field and a couple of smaller ones - all of which were found along time ago. What is left is pretty poor TBH - a 100 bopd is considered to be GREAT.

No oil company of any size is interested and so you're left with outfits too small to be able to go offshore, where the oil and gas really is. Any production is insufficient to fund anything new so it's a constant round of fund raising & dilution.

then the legal & admin burden is appalling onshore . So there isn't much money, everything takes for ever and is always late and over budget.

the small oilers try and pump up enthusiasm but TBH they have a terrible uphill battle - they never win

I think you'll find Petrichor have been in here from somewhere north of 10p and have continued to invest all the way down - they'll want to see some big numbers before selling out now

I can'y see any other locations - normally old drilling pads are visible for quite along time but of course the old Basur wells were drilled a while back. Pity they don't release some better maps - you have to sort of fudge it using Slide 8 of the January presentation and slide 13 of the July 2020 presentation.

Does anyone have the location co-ordinates for Basur 3?
