Where does FT sit in all this, is he fighting for share value as the main holder, or has he sold out months ago and working with SISG?

Till now maybe, but if they sell the assets to themselves at no value through their own board running the Mine it would a different story. Admin is the correct procedure and I am not sure they would risk that based on someone else suddenly appearing to spoil the party. Remember this is the rail, port and 75% mine plus we have share value in Australia to, what is fair value as I am sure a few lawyers down the line once it's profitable would look at it for shareholders who lost out.

Not sure I would leave a 1 billion dollar investment to Auction in SL if I was SISG, they must be mad if they don't just buy out the shareholders for a reasonable value to prevent any legal action in claiming the assets back at a later date due to the way they have gone about grabbing the assets. Maybe its just my wishful thinking but for their initial $1.5 bn and a further $1 bn to come what would $100m be in the scheme of things to make a clean takeover.

This could be very interesting now legal action is getting closer. If you were SISG you can hardly grab the assets after holding back funds and then invest and see it go profitable after a sneaky takeover through the back door. As once they are up and running again the shareholders will have them all over the courts to show wrong doing IMO. They will prove the case against themselves and the BOD for not letting the business be sold on the open market. I wouldn't want to invest a penny if I was them until I was 100% sure I owned the assets legally, after all its London listed and not chinese jurastiction.

I don't suppose we are going to see anything updated from AMI now as the BOD have all resigned. We are only left with FT in place now and from the last few months activity shareholders have definitely not been his priority. The sooner we get our lawyer in place the quicker we get answers to what the hell SISG are up to and why did the AMI BOD not represent shareholders.

Basically everything day to day transferring to SISG. I just don't get it to be honest, you can't run a company you don't own. With wants at stake here value wise to actually buy out the shareholders at 20-30p is peanuts. They might have a legal claim against the debt but that's either admin or a deal to be struck (see Afren). FT is deadly silent about it all and its like everyone's just ignoring the fact the pig's are running the farm (to quote a famous novel).

If they are looking to open it again in April they obviously think it has value. Just one fundermental problem ...... They've forgotten to buy it from the share holders. Yes a silly little deal in court in SL might be a feeble attempt to claim ownership but it just opens them up for a huge claim against them longer term! Admin is over due so we should hear soon.

A brilliant job has been done by some incredibly passionate and clever people on here to get us to the point where we can have a shot as shareholders of having a say about events at AMI. So far we only have the information the BOD have chosen to share with us, the one thing a legal case can do is open up the truth behind the things we've been given. We have a long way to go but maybe this will be a force for good not just for us but the people of SL. As London regulators, Nomads, Directors, Suppliers, Joint Partners and Government Officials have all played a part. Good luck to all the underdogs here that when the truth emerges, a settlement to shareholders might well be the least of there problems (unless of course they are all victims like us).

If the case is strong they are usually settled out of court to prevent a ruling as that opens up the claim to other share holders. Just my opinion as it is likely to be against and insurance company on behalf of the directors. They will know if they are likely to lose to make an offer before a judge rules in favour.

Looks like its not just AMI and SISG having a massive power struggle. If this explodes SL will be a blood bath ...... So sad as the BOD's and SISG self interested money grabbers will one day be judged for the damage they do to lifes of good people as they do anything for their next buck!

Are going to be left holding the toxic legal claims when the old BOD run for the hills. Cant believe SISG don't just buy this out at 30p and clean break this.
