RE: I think..13 Nov 2017 11:14
sajhanif you commented "Yes - looks like a few have access to results prior to their impending release and are getting in early"!!
IMO I think that the SP increase could also be because of a couple of other reasons:
1: With the Interim results still two weeks away I would consider the momentum of buying would increase more towards the latter end of this week ,or more than likely the beginning of next week(from Monday 20th).I would suggest that there could be a Contract Win to be announced very shortly that is probably going through the process of dotting the I's and crossing the "T"'s before publication of a RNS.
If you look at when previous results have been reported significantly in 2016 you'll notice that when both the Half year report and Final results have been posted they both have been supported with RNS's on Contract wins on the same day. This was something that was discussed last year on why release the RNS on these contract wins on the same day if the Company already had secured these contracts prior to publication of their interim /preliminary results.
Who knows the BOD might have taken this on board and if feasible will release this information earlier/prior to the Half yearly report.
2: Could they be a significant buy pending , taking into account the info that was posted on this BB early last year by who I think was Lord Adam, could this be the reason in the steady increase in SP?

Market Makers Time Scale for trades.
"Finally got to the bottom of when and for how long the posting the trade can be delayed ... it's actually set in Euros so the converted GBP numbers are a bit funny but here goes:"
Note that the delay is optional, but it's implemented automatically by the system if the market makers chooses the option:
Less than 8,061 ... publish immediately (within 3 minutes)
More than 8,061 ... delayed by 60 minutes
More than 20,153 ... delayed by 3 hours
More than 36,276 ... delayed until the end of the day (noon of next if in last 2 hours of trading)
More than 48,368 ... delayed until the end of the next day
More than 64,490 ... delayed until the end of the next plus one day.
I assume where the period of day is used, this a business/working day. Hence if there has been a buy of +65K for example on Thursday the 9th, then this buy doesn't have to be posted until close of play today if this time scale option has been implemented by MM's.
